My background includes working as a CNA along with healthcare member services and patient support roles, which helped me build a strong understanding of compassionate care, communication, and advocacy. I am also BLS certified and will be starting midwifery school in Fall 2026 because I truly care about improving maternal health and supporting families in my community. I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!
