Essential Doula Care Package

-I'll be your trusted partner, providing comprehensive support throughout your entire birth journey. This includes: 2 prenatal visits where we'll dive deep into your birth preferences, create a tailored birth plan, practice comfort measures, explore valuable resources, and more. This is our time to connect, ensuring I understand your unique needs and values for your birth. Ongoing Educational support and resources throughout pregnancy. 24/7 on-call support to attend your labor and birth. Labor support where I will guide you with effective birthing techniques for relaxation, focused thoughts, and controlled breathing, fostering a calmer birth experience. I will bring clear advocacy in the room offering a continuous presence. Immediate postpartum support following birth. A postpartum visit within the first 3 weeks after birth to process your birth story, discuss basic newborn care, and to provide referrals and resources for your postpartum journey.

Birth Only Care Package

Only available for families welcoming a subsequent baby or have a planned cesarean birth. Ask me about how a doula can still bring so much value to your c-section birth. A prenatal visit where we'll dive deep into your birth preferences, create a tailored plan, practice comfort techniques, explore valuable resources, and more. This is our time to connect, ensuring I understand your unique needs and values for your birth. Ongoing Educational support via phone and email throughout pregnancy. 24/7 on-call support to attend your labor and birth. Empowering labor support where I will guide you with effective birthing techniques for relaxation, focused thoughts, and controlled breathing, fostering a calmer birth experience. I will bring clear advocacy in the room offering a continuous presence and supporting your wishes to the birth team. Up to two hours of immediate postpartum support following birth. A postpartum visit within the first 3 weeks after birth to process your birth story, discuss basic newborn care, and to provide referrals and resources for your postpartum journey.

What is Gilligans Guide?

"Gilligan’s Guide is an algorithm (a graphic chart that is easy to follow) which assists the pregnant person’s body to rotate their unborn infant into the optimal or best position for birth. We refer to this as “Maternal Positioning for Optimal Fetal Positioning”. It is safe, simple and efficient for everyone to use." It is proven to reduce laboring time so that you can have a positive birth experience.

"A skilled doula empowers a woman to communicate her needs and perceptions and actualize her dream of a healthy, positive birth experience." The stats speak for themselves: -The results show that expectant mothers matched with a doula had better birth outcomes than did mothers who gave birth without involvement of a doula. -Doula-assisted mothers were four times less likely to have a LBW baby -Two times less likely to experience a birth complication involving themselves or their baby -And significantly more likely to initiate breastfeeding. Nearly all (90.4%) of the adult mothers assisted by a doula chose to initiate breastfeeding.
