My name is Taylor. I am passionate about supporting moms to find the birth that they want! As a mom of two, with two very different birth stories, I have been empowered to help educate and honor moms in their birth goals!

I have been providing childcare for over 18 years. My experience is with all ages, but I specialize in caring for infants. I have experience with preemies twins/multiples, and infants/children that have special needs. I have provided care as a mother's helper, sitter, nanny(day & night), respite provider, and personal aide. I have assisted with therapies, medication administration, equipment maintenance, and more. I am a mother of two school age girls, an aunt, previous foster mom, and oldest sibling so my experience goes beyond my 18 years of professional caregiving. Currently, I am studying to become a newborn/infant care specialist as well as a Postpartum Doula. I have finished my courses and I am in the process of finishing my contact hours to become certified. I work with infants ages preemie to under 13 months old and their families (including siblings).

I like to focus on nutrition and positioning techniques during pregnancy to help minimize end-of-pregnancy concerns and labor challenges. I started my doula journey shortly after my first born because I wanted to help other families to know that they do have a voice that matters. Having a cesarean myself, then a HBAC, I have a unique perspective on the difference of each of those experiences. Becoming a doula stemmed from a deeply personal journey for me. As a mother of 5, I have personally experienced the highs and lows of childbirth, including heartbreaking miscarriages, and scary pregnancy complications that left me feeling vulnerable and alone. These experiences ignited a spiritual calling within me to support and comfort other mothers during their birthing journeys. I saw the need for a compassionate advocate to stand by their side, providing guidance, emotional support, and a comforting presence throughout the transformative process of bringing new life into the world. It is through my own trials and triumphs that I found my purpose as a doula, driven by empathy and a heartfelt desire to be a source of strength for other women during one of the most significant moments of their lives. I attend births at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and have a fabulous collaborating OBGYN for any patients with complications out of my scope of practice or those needing surgical intervention.
