Hi! I am Amber Brodersen a doula from mid Missouri. I completed my first DONA doula birth training in 2002. I decided to become a stay at home Mom after the birth of my second son. I had a refresher DONA training in 2025 and am ready to serve moms in the central Missouri area. I am comfortable with hospital and home births (3 of my 4 babies were born at home). I am a birth doula and photographer, and I serve the areas in and around Fulton, Columbia, and Jefferson City. I became a doula because a woman's experience in labor and childbirth can often affect how confident she feels as a mother, especially in the early weeks postpartum. The role of a mother is an important one and it is vital that she feels empowered to make decisions for herself and her children that line up with her beliefs and values. Mothers have certain beliefs and values because they believe that these will be the most beneficial for their children and I want to support that.
