I'm an international Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC.) I have over 20 years of experience working with families and their infant feeding needs. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I do home visits as well as virtual consultations. I am currently pursuing my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN, RN) while continuing to advance my work in maternal–infant health. I’m a mother of three beautiful children and I’ve experienced three very different births personally: medicated with epidural, all natural, and an emergency c section. I also breastfed each child for over a year and offer lactation support postpartum. I fully understand the physical, emotional and spiritual challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. Hello! My name is Zadah, I’m a mother of 2 from a small town in North Carolina. I’ve worked in healthcare for most of my adult life and I’ve noticed that as women, especially women of color, LGBTQIA+, and those of certain social status tend to be at higher risk of adverse birth experiences. We need advocates and other women to help support our path to better care. Did you know that 1 in 4 women experience symptoms of postpartum depression? They say it takes a village, but what about the women who don’t have a support system? I want to extend a hand and be the change that we as mothers deserve.

Hi, I'm Toni! I am a postpartum doula and experienced infant care provider with years of hands-on experience caring for babies and supporting families. I am also the mother of six children and the proud grandmother of a little girl, so nurturing babies has been a meaningful part of both my personal and professional life. I own and operate a licensed 5-star childcare program, where infant care has always been the area I enjoy most.. My approach is calm, nurturing and dependable. I have experience with feeding and bottle preparation, diapering, soothing, safe sleep practices, infant routines and supporting parents as they adjust to life with their baby. I am now expanding my professional focus into newborn and postpartum care throughout the coast, with the goal of specializing in the first months of a baby's life. I am especially interested in providing daytime (weekends only), evening and overnight support that allows parents to rest while knowing their baby is being cared for with patience and attention.
