Birth Doula

About me

I'm a CAPPA-certified labor doula, and being with families as they bring their babies into the world is my calling — not just my job. There's nothing like it, and I don't take a single birth for granted. My job is simple: to make sure you never feel alone or unsure in your labor. I'm the calm, steady presence in the room — helping you understand your choices, offering comfort when things get intense, supporting your partner, and reminding you just how strong you already are. I don't make decisions for you. I help you feel confident making your own. After three beautiful home births of my own, I know firsthand how powerful and transformative labor can be. My first doula left a lasting impression on me — she made me feel supported, capable, and seen — and I knew that was something I wanted to give to other women. Now, it's my greatest honor to do exactly that.

Service introduction

As your labor doula, my support begins long before your first contraction. We'll meet during your pregnancy to get to know one another, talk through your hopes and questions, and build a birth plan that reflects what matters most to you. I'll share comfort techniques, help you feel prepared and informed, and make sure both you and your partner know what to expect. You'll have me just a phone call or text away as your due date approaches — because peace of mind shouldn't have to wait until labor begins. When your baby is on the way, I'm by your side for continuous, hands-on support from early labor through birth. I offer physical comfort — positioning, counter-pressure, breathing, and movement — alongside the steady emotional reassurance that keeps you grounded when things intensify. I help your partner feel confident and involved, advocate for your wishes, and hold calm in the room so you can stay focused on your body and your baby. I stay with you through those first tender moments after birth, helping you settle in and — before I go — supporting you with nursing and latching techniques to give you and your baby a strong, confident start. My care includes two prenatal visits and one postnatal visit, with continuous on-call availability beginning two weeks before your due date. And from the moment we decide to work together right up until your birth, I'm always here to talk, answer your questions, and provide the information and resources you need — so you feel supported, informed, and never alone at any point along the way.
