Danielle Samuelson
About me
I was born and raised in DFW. My family and friends mean the world to me. Having a sense of community is so important. My favorite people in the world call me Aunt Dani! In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, practicing hot yoga, working out, going to church, and sewing. My faith has definitely helped shape me as a midwife. Hallowed means regarded as holy or sacred. To me birth is a very sacred experience that should be treated as such. Before stepping into the role of a midwife, I spent nearly three years as a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital setting. It provided me with a solid foundation and invaluable experience, but I slowly came to realize that my values did not align with the hospital culture. When I moved to San Diego in 2018 I decided to leave the hospital and pursue my dream of becoming a midwife. During my training I truly fell in love with home birth. Witnessing a baby enter this world in the very place they will grow up is an incredibly special and sacred experience that deeply touches my heart. During my midwifery training, I made the decision to move back to Texas, wanting to be closer to my family and friends. After completing my midwifery education I began working at a birth center. The birth center was an amazing experience, but I am thrilled to embark on this next chapter of my career, returning to home births and reconnecting with families. This is where my true passion lies—to provide personalized, compassionate care that honors each family's unique needs and choices. I am genuinely excited to be a part of your journey, guiding you through the miraculous experience of childbirth with unwavering support, respect, and empowerment. I look forward to connecting with you!

Service introduction
I am a home birth midwife. I provide prenatal care, home birth, and postpartum care. I see you on the same schedule as an OB. Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then every week until baby is born. I offer all home visits. Appointments typically last between 45 minutes and an hour and a half. These visits are how we will form a relationship and get to know one another better. Trust is the foundation of midwifery care. I offer home births. In your own environment you will feel safer and more secure. During labor and birth I will be monitoring you and baby to make sure all is well. After baby is born I will make sure both you and baby have transitioned well into your new roles. I am usually at your house for about 3 hours after the birth. I also have birth tubs for my clients. I take care of you and baby for the first six weeks postpartum. All postpartum visits are at your house. I do a 2 day, 1 week, 2 week, and 6 week postpartum visit. Becoming a confident, empowered parent starts with an empowered pregnancy and birth experience.

Having Danielle as my midwife was the best decision I could’ve made during my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She became someone I could trust deeply over the course of our relationship. Shes attentive, thorough, personal, and supportive through every decision or milestone. I honestly think that because of her help in preparing me and getting me the personalized care that I needed, my home birth became the birth I had prayed for!! I can’t recommend her enough to any one looking to have a home birth or who is in need of more personalized care to have the healthiest and safest birth possible!! I will 100% be asking for her again next round :)
