First baby, will birth at Hackensack University Medical Center. I live in Jersey City NJ. Would love an unmedicated birth but I’m flexible with wherever this birth takes me. I’m not sure what my budget should be because I don’t know what Doulas go for. Once baby is born I’m hoping to breastfeed and want to give it my best shot. If baby allows and while I recover I would like to have a night doula for 3-4 nights a week for 7-8 hours a night.

I'm reaching out because I'm looking for a doula who can provide the support and advocacy I've been missing throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. I'm hoping to find a doula who can be a supportive presence during the remainder of my pregnancy, help me prepare for birth, and provide reassurance and advocacy during labor and delivery. At the hospital Haven’t thought about birth plan yet

We are expecting twin boys in December and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist for overnight support in Manhattan. Ideally, we would like help 4–5 nights per week, approximately 10–12 hours per night, for the first 1-2 months after delivery. We are specifically looking for someone with strong newborn experience, preferably someone who has cared for twins overnight independently. Support would include feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, bottle washing/preparation, and helping establish a safe sleep routine so that my husband and I can get some rest. Experience with premature or early-term babies would be a plus. CPR certification and references are preferred. We are flexible on the exact schedule and would love to discuss availability, experience with twins, and rates. Japanese-speaking would be a plus, but is not required.
