Hi! I’m due in early March and looking for an in-person birth doula in North Jersey. I’m deciding between The Birth Center of New Jersey in Union and Mountainside Medical Center, and I’d like support at either location, including if I need to transfer. My last labor was fast, so I’d like to know when the doula would join me and what the backup plan would be. I’m looking for someone experienced in supporting Black mothers, helping me communicate my birth preferences, and supporting my husband and me during a low-intervention birth. I’m also looking for postpartum care familiar with Nigerian traditions, with a focus on rest, nourishing food, belly binding, and practical recovery support. I’m interested in someone knowledgeable about herbs, natural remedies, and tinctures as well. My budget is around 2,500
