My name is Leah McCarty-Little and I am the owner of Our Little Helper LLC. I serve Indianapolis and its surrounding cities. I attended Purdue University and graduated in 2019. My training is with BEST Doula Training (2020) and Wholistic Doula Training (2021). In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, taking walks outside, or hanging with my adorable nephews. I believe doula work chose me long before I chose it. Growing up, I was always fascinated with pregnancy and birth. I remember being young and watching "A Baby Story" or "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" or wanting to be so involved with helping my sister with her pregnancy. In 2020, I decided to re-evaluate my career path and find something that I would be more passionate about. I found doula work and it was the perfect fit. This field really keeps on giving and warms my heart with each family that allows me to be on their journey.

I have a lifelong passion for assisting others, which began when I attended college to study Human Services. This path led me to roles such as Social Worker, Family Support Specialist, and Home-based Case Manager, among others. Throughout my career, I’ve always felt compelled to support pregnant women and care for infants, fueling my desire to become a doula. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and helping with over 70 live births, offering guidance to partners, families, and even my own family during prenatal, labor, and postpartum stages. As a parent to seven children and grandparent to twelve, I’ve experienced firsthand the joy of being present at many of their births. Outside of work, I enjoy attending church with my husband, listening to and reading books, relaxing with music, occasionally watching movies, and sharing meals at restaurants with friends and usually my husband.

Cieara Jake offers Doula services to all, who are in need of fertility, prenatal, birth, postpartum and infant feeding and loss support. As a Full-Spectrum Doula I am very passionate about providing heartfelt emotional, physical, mental and informational support to persons on their journey. My mission is to create an environment of advocacy, so those who may not believe they have a voice, will be heard. I want all my clients to know that they are worthy of respect and dignity. And their hopes and dreams surrounding their birth experience, matters. Within my practice I will help my clients identify their inner strength of bringing forth the miracle of life. From the moment of conception to the moment of seeing and holding their baby for the first time. With my intriguing interest in the impeccable work of Doulas and the difference they make in our communities has geared my drive. My passion is to strive towards making a difference in my community and offer services that will transform lives that may not have support or access to resources due to social and economical inequalities. I want to make a difference in my community that represents Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) especially, women. Within these particular communities there is an alarming and increased rate of maternal and infant mortality. Indiana faces one of the most severe maternal health crises in the nation, recording 31.4 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births—a rate among the highest in the United States, according to the March of Dimes. And also infant mortality in Indiana extends far beyond the delivery room—it measures every baby who doesn't make it to their first birthday. Each year, about 500 Hoosier families experience this devastating loss, representing a rate of 1 out of roughly every 160 babies (6.3 per 1,000 live births).Blessings From Above is determined to help decrease these rates within its communities by providing exceptional support to all during their pregnancy, labor/birth and postpartum periods. When searching for services you will have the opportunity of choosing between either experiencing my Full-Spectrum Doula services, certain number of specific services or a single service package that will best meet you and your family needs. The various packages will be listed under the Doula packages tab. Blessings From Above was established in 2020. My passion of becoming a Doula started back in December of 2018 when I was a participant in Indiana’s Nurse-Family Partnership program. This program is for economically disadvantaged women who are pregnant with their first child. The program is designed to help support first-time mothers less than 28 weeks with support, advice and information. Each participant is assigned to a personal nurse which meets twice a month up until their baby turns two years of age . After completion of the program I was motivated to help support other birthing persons the way I was supported in my community. So, I began to do research about the profession of a Doula and the role they play in lives of people who are trying to conceive, pregnancy, in labor, delivery, postpartum and infant feeding and I knew in that very moment this was my calling. I knew I wanted to be apart of supporting a community of birthing persons along their journey of giving birth to a healthy baby.

My name is Sethia Mitchell, and I am a DONA certified doula and childbirth educator with Community Health Network. My background in healthcare, domestic violence advocacy, and child advocacy has shaped my commitment to helping people feel heard, respected, and supported. I bring that commitment to the families I serve, along with a warm heart, a listening ear, and a passion for helping parents feel more informed and confident as they prepare to welcome their baby. My philosophy as a doula is that every family deserves compassionate support that honors their individual needs, values, and choices. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey can bring joy, uncertainty, and moments of vulnerability. My goal is to walk alongside you, offer encouragement and education, and help you feel comfortable asking questions and expressing your wishes to your care team. I believe your voice matters, your feelings deserve space, and you should be treated with dignity throughout your experience. It is a privilege to support you as you discover what strength and parenthood look like for you.

I am a creative, energetic nanny with 7 yrs. of experience from ages newborn-13 years. I am 21 years old and work as a career nanny full-time. I graduated with a business degree from Ivy Tech in may of 2025. In the summer of 2022 I went overseas to help a missionary family with two children move, get settled and begin homeschooling. I love watching children learn, grow, and explore the world! Kids are so smart and talented. They learn from watching and listening to others. I would love to become a role model for your little one and them learn about their world. I enjoy helping kids learn simple sign language, time outside exploring in the fresh air and sunshine, taking walks, going to the park, reading, singing, dancing, animals, and cooking among other things. I am also heavily involved in the theater community in Indianapolis in my spare time. Thanks for considering me!

My path to becoming a doula started five years ago during my own pregnancy. The experience of watching my baby girl’s weekly development sparked a passion that only grew stronger over time. Once I settled into motherhood, I fully committed to doula training, earning certifications as a Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Perinatal Nutrition Educator. I’ve also specialized in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Birth Workers, which allows me to offer comprehensive support tailored to each family’s unique needs. Friends describe me as bubbly and outgoing, with a calming presence. In a client’s home, I quickly sense when to offer simplicity and hold space, or when conversation is needed. Balancing life as a mom and doula, I’ve learned the importance of self-care, finding joy in drawing, painting, and crafts. My daughter and I love exploring our community, with the Indianapolis Children’s Museum being a favorite spot.

Hello! I'm an infant Montessori teacher, Newborn Care Specialist, and Infant Sleep Educator passionate about caring for young babies. I'm a mom of 3, ages 23 months to 6 years. If you are interested in my services, please reach out and start a conversation as I can book out from referrals.

As a Traditional Homebirth Companion, I bring the tradition of the wise woman to your birth. For more years than we can count or recollect, this was the way women brought their babies into the world - at home, surrounded by women who knew birth, knew physiology and knew how to support it. Women who knew time-honored skills, traditions, plants and nutrition. Before regulation, laws and governments got in the way, women were birthing safely, on their own terms. Taught and mentored by elders who are bringing back these traditions and skills, I’ve stepped into this work to provide more options and possibilities in my community, so that babies are born safely into their parents’ arms, and so that women are treated with dignity and respect.

Hello parents! My name is Allie and I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula! I believe that all women should have a calm and peaceful birth. On my free time I enjoy going out with friends and being with my family!

I'm a birth doula, a mom of two young kids, a Licensed Social Worker, and an artist. I work at the edge of birth and becoming—the places where women cross from one version of themselves into another. I hold space for women preparing for birth (especially those carrying fear or grief from a previous experience), mothers navigating the postpartum crossing, and any other significant threshold moment for anyone who needs to be held, not fixed. This work is not about making you brave. It's about witnessing you—exactly as you are—while you move through what's here. My approach is all about empowerment through education, holding space for sacred moments, and for processing those threshold moments after the fact, as well! I love incorporating somatic body awareness and trust in my trauma-informed practice. I’d love to walk alongside you during your threshold moments!
