We were very thankful to have Bethany as our doula. She was kind, calm, and proactive throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, providing support exactly when we needed it. She provided pregnancy support using The Body Ready Method as well as collaborative assistance in the creation of our 2nd Birth Plan and prioritized prior 1st birth trauma considerations. Our birth ultimately became an unplanned repeat C section, which brought back some anxiety from our first experience. Having Bethany there provided stability during an uncertain time and gave us a trusted advocate to help guide us through the process. All things considered, everything went as smoothly as it could have, and we’re grateful Bethany was part of our birth experience. When my birth plan was turned upside down going from a home birth to a hospital induction, Candace was an amazing support. Not just physically when I was going through contractions but also mentally and emotionally beforehand. She helped me put together a hospital birth plan, helped answer questions I didn’t even have to think about with my original birth plan. When she showed up at the hospital her calming energetic personality helped me to stay focused throughout all my contractions and she was a great distraction in the beginning part of my labor. I don’t know how I would have done it without her.
