Hello! My name is Jocelene , and I am 24 years old. I am a Birth Doula based in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and I am happy to travel to surrounding communities to support families during their birth journey. Since I can remember, I have always found deep love and interest in the perinatal period. My first encounter with pregnancy and birth occurred when I was very young; my mum showed me the 1995 film Nine Months, directed by Chris Columbus, starring Julianne Moore and Hugh Grant, and I was hooked! Essentially, I watched any movie or TV show (that I was aware of) that featured the perinatal period. Some of the shows that I have watched countless times are One Born Every Minute (Channel 4) and Call The Midwife (BBC One). I bring the film and shows up because it is an integral part of the story that led me to become a doula; it kept the spark alive long enough for me to find a way forward into working within the birth and postpartum world. Then, when I went to Mount Royal University to get my Bachelor of Arts degree, it only felt natural to accompany it with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, so I see myself as a certified feminist (lol). I have always believed that people are entitled to feel empowered during their birth, and with that comes support, which is where I come in. As your doula, it is my job to support you and your birthing team throughout the duration of your birth. I will never make decisions on your behalf or try to influence your choices, but I will support you in making those decisions, and yes, that includes postpartum care. I will hold space for you and your support team, and I will do my best to help you advocate for your wishes. I understand that the perinatal period is a very vulnerable time, and I feel honoured and blessed to be able to accompany you on your journey.

Hi, I’m Laine (she/her)! I am a full-spectrum doula, plant lover, and mom of two incredible little humans. My own journey - welcoming my first child in 2018, experiencing pregnancy loss, and later giving birth to my second in 2023 - deeply shaped my path and passion for birth work. Both of my births were supported by wonderful doulas, and their steady presence inspired me to offer the same kind of care to others. As your doula, I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to help you feel nurtured, empowered, prepared, and cared for - no matter how or where you choose to give birth. Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a certifying Birth & Postpartum Doula, professional nanny and trained Newborn Care Specialist based in Lethbridge, Alberta. I provide overnight newborn & infant care along with postpartum support for families during the early weeks and months after welcoming a new baby. I bring over 20 years of professional childcare experience, including extensive work as a travel nanny supporting families in their homes around Europe & Canada. These experiences have allowed me to work closely with infants, children, and parents in many different environments, strengthening my ability to adapt to each family’s unique needs and parenting style. My background also includes experience working in healthcare environments supporting NICU and pediatric units, which has deepened my understanding of newborn development and the importance of creating a calm, reassuring environment for both baby and parents.
