Precious Gaylor

At 22 years old, I have been dedicated to the world of birth work since 2022, supporting families through a variety of birth experiences and reproductive journeys. My passion for this work comes from a genuine desire to help individuals feel heard, informed, empowered, and supported during some of the most meaningful and vulnerable moments of their lives. As a full-spectrum doula, I recognize that no two journeys are alike. Whether you are preparing to welcome your baby, navigating pregnancy, adjusting to life postpartum, or experiencing a different chapter in your reproductive journey, you deserve compassionate, judgment-free support tailored to your needs. My Areas of Support ♡ Birth Doula Support — Continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and birth. ♡ Postpartum Doula Care — Support during the transition into parenthood, including recovery, newborn care education, and adjustment to life with a new baby. ♡ Full-Spectrum Reproductive Support — Compassionate care throughout a range of reproductive experiences, honoring your choices and personal circumstances. ♡ Home Birth Support — Doula support for families planning a home birth alongside their qualified maternity care team. ♡ Hospital Birth Support — Emotional support, comfort measures, birth preference preparation, and help navigating communication with your care team. ♡ Birth Center Support — Personalized support for families choosing a birth center setting. ♡ Teen Pregnancy Support — Encouragement, education, and nonjudgmental support for young parents navigating pregnancy and birth. ♡ Pregnancy & Birth Education — Helping clients understand their options, prepare for labor, and approach birth with greater confidence. ♡ Breastfeeding & Chestfeeding Support — Encouragement and basic education to help families navigate early feeding experiences. ♡ Pregnancy Loss & Miscarriage Support — Gentle, compassionate emotional support through grief and healing. ♡ Abortion Support — Respectful, nonjudgmental support before, during, and after an abortion experience. ♡ Stillbirth & Bereavement Support — Compassionate presence and emotional support for families experiencing profound loss. ♡ Placenta Services — Information and support related to available placenta services, based on my training and qualifications. ♡ Holistic Support & Comfort Measures — Comfort techniques such as breathing, relaxation, positioning, massage, and other appropriate nonmedical approaches. ♡ Virtual Doula Support — Accessible emotional support, education, preparation, and guidance for clients who need remote care. My Philosophy I believe every person deserves to feel safe, respected, informed, and supported without fear of judgment. I honor each client's individual preferences, circumstances, identity, and decisions. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel confident in your voice and empowered to make informed choices about your journey. I understand that birth and reproductive experiences can be beautiful, challenging, unpredictable, and deeply personal. I strive to meet each client where they are, offering compassionate care that centers their needs rather than my own expectations. My Future in Midwifery My journey in birth work is only the beginning. Since starting as a doula in 2022, I have continued to grow my passion for maternal and reproductive care. One of my long-term goals is to become a midwife so I can further expand my knowledge, skills, and ability to serve families throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I am here to support your journey, honor your choices, and remind you that your voice matters. Whether you are planning your birth, preparing for postpartum, navigating a reproductive decision, or seeking support through loss, you deserve care rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect. Your body. Your choices. Your story. Your support. I look forward to being part of your journey. 🤎

Nusrat Jahan Moon

Nusrat Jahan Moon prefers to introduce herself as Amatullah. Amatullah is a mother of two beautiful children. After a traumatic birth experience with her first child, she felt an overwhelming desire to become a doula. Then, by Allah's infinite mercy, she used the knowledge gained from her AMANI Birth training during the birth of her second child to experience a natural delivery. She has expressed her desire to gain more knowledge about natural childbirth in the future. She is also a writer and is the author of Brishtyveja Bikel. She worked with Sorobor as a writer for about two years. Her writings have been published in all of Roudromoyee's books. Moreover, her work has been published by Somokalin Prokason, Muhammad Publication, and several other publishing houses. She has also edited a book called Sukher Natai. According to her, motherhood is a difficult path, and she wants to be a companion of mothers on this journey. Working with expectant mothers is an area of her passion. "[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." (Al-Quran, Surah Al-Mulk 67:2) Birth is a miracle, as Allah (SWT) creates a human being in the womb and gives it life. Every human is different in color, height, personality, and spirituality. The more she thinks about this miracle, the more she feels an urge to be a part of it. Becoming a Birth Doula has become her passion day by day. Working with the mothers who are carrying a living example of Allah's existence is a huge blessing for her. She hopes it will keep reminding her of her true goal in this life: that we all have to return to Him, the one who created all of us.

Hi, I’m Melanie Powell—certified doula, childbirth educator, author of From Fear to First Cry, and the founder of both Little Flower Birth Services and the non-profit Under His Wings Collective. As a mother myself, I know firsthand that bringing a child into the world is one of the most profound, transformative journeys you will ever take. But I also know it can bring up deep questions, past fears, and medical anxieties. That is why my life’s work is dedicated to walking beside women and their partners, ensuring you never have to navigate the medical landscape alone. Through Little Flower Birth Services, my practice is rooted in three core pillars: Advocacy to help your partner step into their role as your protector, Sanctuary to guard your peace with a protective "Baby Bubble," and Autonomy to honor your God-given intuition through a trauma-informed framework. Whether I'm teaching evidence-based physiological birth classes, coaching partners in our signature advocacy workshops, or offering quiet, steadfast support in the delivery room, my goal is to transform your anxieties into your greatest strengths. Beyond my private practice, my heart for community led me to establish Under His Wings Collective—a non-profit initiative dedicated to expanding access to sliding-scale and free childbirth education, alongside trauma-informed virtual doula support (such as our Virtual Bloom Package) for Medicaid-eligible, low-income, and high-anxiety mothers who deserve dedicated care regardless of circumstance. When I’m not supporting families across the DFW Metroplex, leading virtual education cohorts, or advocating through the collective, you can usually find me baking something nourishing for loved ones or cherishing quiet moments with my daughter. You deserve to enter your birth room feeling strong, informed, and deeply supported. I would be honored to walk this sacred journey with you.

What made us choose Melanie as our birth doula for our first birth experience was the fact that she was Catholic and she offered a lot in her birth package. She was extremely helpful all throughout my pregnancy, especially on the day of my delivery. She helped us map out a birth plan and she did a great job educating us. During my labor, Melanie coached me through exercises she prepped us with to deal with the contractions. After I got my epidural, I was still experiencing pain on my right side. Melanie spent hours lightly shaking the area to get my daughter to move. It really helped me deal with the pain. She also helped the nurse with getting my daughter to turn face down to prepare for birth. Melanie offered me the comfort and support I needed in the last hours of my labor. Because of her support, my husband was able to get some extra sleep so he could be present with me and available post-birth. I would strongly recommend Melanie as a doula.

I’m Carmen, a Birth-Agnostic doula living in Arlington, TX with my husband and two amazing kiddos. Bringing more compassion, humanity, respect and nurturing to birth work in the U.S. has been a passion of mine since I first began my motherhood journey over ten years ago. Birth is an experience unlike any other in a birth giver’s life, culminating not only in the birth of a brand new life, but also a new version of the birth giver. During the sacred window leading up to the birth and continuing on through the postpartum period, it is crucial that all birth givers have the physical, mental and spiritual support they need to navigate this journey wholly— with confidence and without fear. This is my goal with Mama Nurture.

Being a first time mom and living away from family it was very important to have some support my first few weeks of being home with my newborn. As soon as I met Carmen I immediately knew she would be a good fit for my postpartum doula! She was friendly, welcoming, and supportive. During the night I felt comfortable and at ease with her taking care of our newborn and my husband and I getting much needed rest and our little one as well. Thank you Carmen for your support the first few weeks, don’t know what we would’ve done!

Hi! My name is Rebeca Gedeon and I am a certified birth doula located in Weatherford, TX. I love supporting moms in all labor and delivery locations, and with any kind of provider. I've supported over 80 families in my 4 years of serving as a labor doula. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have supported moms through their dream births as well as birth plans that needed adjustment for medically necessary reasons. One of my biggest strengths is supporting mom in what they wish, but also being able to slow down and explain what is going on if plans have to adjust rapidly. I will labor with you at home if you desire, even if you plan to transfer to another location, and I will follow you into the OR if needed and desired. I am not only a certified labor and birth doula, I have added training with body balancing techniques to help you and your body navigate labor. I am familiar with Spinning Babies techniques. I am a StillBirthday student doula. I am a childbirth educator and also a placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Christian doula and love to incorporate quiet prayer and intercession into my care when it is desired. I've watched the Lord work miracles for families and believe in the power of prayer in the labor space. When I am not at a birth I spend my time homeschooling my children and playing with my children. I also greatly enjoy floral work, knitting and crocheting, and baking!
