Hi, I’m Gabrielle Taylor. I’ve been supporting mothers and newborns since February 2022, but my passion for women’s health began in my teenage years. I’m a proud mother of two—my children were born in 2017 and 2021. **I have teamed up with Danica Day to bring quality care and support to Frederick and the surrounding areas. In contrast, the birth of my second child was an empowering VBAC, made possible by the compassionate presence of an incredible doula. That experience was truly life-changing—it showed me the profound difference that informed, empathetic support can make. Now, my mission is to offer that same kind of transformative support to other families. Whether you're navigating your first birth or welcoming another child into your home, I’m here to help you feel confident, cared for, and connected. In today’s fast-paced world, motherhood can feel isolating—but I'm here to bridge that gap so you feel supported. I’m also currently pursuing my nursing degree to deepen my knowledge and enhance the care I provide as a doula. I’m honored to walk alongside you during this pivotal journey.

As a Birth Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and experienced childcare provider, I have a deep passion for working with children and a genuine enthusiasm for the evolving field of newborn and postpartum care. Transitioning from the daycare environment to hands-on support has been incredibly rewarding. I thrive in this dynamic role, driven by the growing need to nurture and empower new parents and their babies. In addition to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, I bring extensive experience in lactation support and sleep training. I am currently pursuing a Nursing degree at FCC, with long-term aspirations to become a Lactation Consultant and Certified Nurse Midwife. Since certifying as a Newborn Care Specialist in 2021, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting numerous families in the DMV area with overnight care and doula services. It would be an honor to support your family during this special time, and I look forward to bringing my knowledge, warmth, and dedication to your newborn care journey.

After your delivery, Dawn & Dusk can offer a number of services to help ease the transition of your family back to your home. Postpartum services: -overnight or daytime care and monitoring of newborn and birthing person -feedings -cleaning and sanitation of bottle or pump parts -newborn hygiene and bathing -diapering -lactation guidance and feeding support -emotional support and guidance for the whole family Depending on your needs, additional services can be requested on a case-by-case basis. Additional service examples: - in home cooking or meal prep - grocery pick-up - sibling care - dog walking/pet care ***Payment plans are available*** additional $5 per hour outside of 35 miles from downtown Frederick, MD

As your doula team, Dawn & Dusk will be by your side for the duration of your pregnancy through delivery. The Standard Labor Doula Package, priced at $1800, includes: ***Payment plans are available*** Prenatal Services: - emotional support and resources to make decisions - unlimited virtual support to answer any questions or concerns that arise - two in-person or virtual prenatal visits Labor services: - on call 24/7 - support facilitating birth plan during labor and delivery - In-person support for you and your partner at your birthing location regardless of birthing method - postpartum care for up to two hours post delivery - one in-home postpartum follow-up visit (up to 4 hours) The Basic Labor Doula package, priced at $1500, includes: Prenatal Services: - emotional support and resources to make decisions - unlimited virtual support to answer any questions or concerns that arise - one in-person or virtual prenatal visit Labor services: - on call 24/7 - support facilitating birth plan during labor and delivery - In-person support for you and your partner at your birthing location regardless of birthing method - postpartum care for up to two hours post delivery - one in-home postpartum follow-up visit (1 hour)

Gabby is amazing! Truly, she answered every question I had, supported our postpartum journey, explained everything throughly, had brilliant insight, talked through everything with me, and helped my little guy sleep in 4+ hour stretches every time! She is the baby sleep whisperer! Could not say nicer things about Gabby and her gentle care of not only my little guy, but my family as a whole. She truly made my whole postpartum journey so much easier!!

I can’t say enough about Gabby. She was with us for 8 weeks as a post partum doula/newborn care specialist at night. She was so great with my baby and took extra care following his lip and tongue tie procedure to make sure he was comforted and did his post op oral exercises. As a new mom, I was nervous about having someone in my home, but Gabby was so warm and kind and answered all of my questions and provided helpful insights from her experience.
