I plan to give birth at home. Im not sure how to begin the process and would like some help and insights.

Looking to have my baby in the comfort of my home and free from the medical world, where I have to go back and forth with nurses and doctors about what I want for my child, I just want a quiet natural environment to bring my baby into. I’m not sure where to start looking and what the price is but at 15 weeks I know I have to start this journey of trying to find the right support.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I have had 1 previous pregnancy that resulted in a c-section. I desperately want a successful vbac. I was later told that the c-section was likely unnecessary and due to my doctor’s planned vacation. It was infuriating. My labor was progressing very slowly and I was bullied into a c-section. It was a truly awful experience. I want to feel respected and in control of my body.

I’m seeking a doula to walk me through my first pregnancy and birth. I want someone who will advocate for a holistic natural birth and help me know my rights as a mother.

I want to give birth at a hospital and it my first baby and I just want someone who can be there for me me that will make sure it goes my way because I do want an epidural but I don’t want to have a c section at all unless it’s extremely necessary I know sometimes they have to but sometimes if you are not wanting one they will give you time to do it vaginally when something goes wrong up until they don’t see fit anymore

Plan to give birth in North Carolina, somewhere around the Charlotte region. Tricare will be the one covering the birth doula. My delivery plan is still up in the air
