Looking for a midwife that delivers at honor health hospital in either shea or Sonoran. I think my due date is further down to the end of May but not sure. I would like to have the option to get an epidural but I don’t want pitocin and want to prevent a C-section as much as possible I would like to do without medication but also not be embarrassed to take a epidural. I want someone that is covered by my insurance which is Oscar Silver Simple PCP Saver CSR 150.

-Pregnant with my second! First baby was born at a birth center -Looking to give birth at home -Estimated budget is between 3-4k
I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby! We are moving down to Arizona at the beginning/middle of November and need to switch midwifery care. This is our first home birth, but it has been planned up to this point to have a home birth! We want to be in our home of course. And I want my kids there!
Home $5000 Birth Plan Limited people in the room, no students or unnecessary staff, I'm not an experiment to observe. Do not break my water. Do not offer me an epidural for pain, or pitocin to speed things up, as it might interfere with my own resolve. Although I am interested in nitrous and/or iv pain meds. No cervical check as they don’t provide any benefit or real indication of how long labour will take, and will only increase a sense of rush/anxiety if things are not going “fast enough” Obtain my/my husbands consent for any intervention or medication I will be accompanied by a trusted person at all times (partner, friend, family member, doula) No continuous fetal monitoring as it has not been proven to improve outcomes for mom or baby and increases interventions and c-sections. Intermittent monitoring will do. Baby goes immediately skin to skin on my chest (without a hat) to regulate his/her temperature and blood sugar, encourage breastfeeding, and help my hormones work to heal and stem bleeding No talking when the baby is born so they can hear my/my husbands voice first You will NOT clamp the cord until it is white and limp so my baby can benefit from oxygen to vital organs, vitamines, minerals, nutrients, red and white blood cells, immune cells, stems cells, and increasing iron stores. I will take 1+ “golden hour” after birth before any exams, weighing, etc are done. Please leave the room to family only and turn off the lights NO pulling on the placenta or fundal massage. My golden time will help my placenta detach on its own and I should be able to feel some pressure when its ready to be delivered. I will let you know if I want you to gently ease it out or if I will stand and do it myself. Prefer: Expectant management of the third stage of labor We are declining the vitamin K shot. We are declining the antibiotic eye ointment since I tested negative for Chlamydia and gonorrhea We are postponing the heel prick test to another day so our baby may come into this world peacefully.
Home birth VERY hands off- no tests, no vaginal exams, just someone trained there in case anything does go awry. Don’t want to know gender at all Already had 2 natural births, one at home Budget is roughly 4,000
