Hello my name is Anyi (Angie) I am a mom of 2 little gentleman and 1 little princess. I am happily married with my husband almost 10+ thank God for my family. My first pregnancy was tough I was far from family member. It was just my husband and I wish I had a doula to feel that comfort and joy that we were expecting. I don't want anyone to feel that way. It's amazing to be able to carry a little one in our belly's. My other two pregnancy I had different injuries, when your pregnancy there so much we need to be careful about and when I was in the park I hurt my legs because there was a metal pole where I couldn't see it because my belly was big. Lastly I had broken my pelvic. Thank God I am heal from everything that has happened to me. I was still able to give birth naturally 3 times. The first 1 with Epidural.. I have learn so much about Nutrition, how to increase breast milk. How to prevent injuries how to prevent miscarriages. How to stay fit while pregnant and how to have a smooth labor and recovery. With over 20 years as a highly-skilled Registered Nurse, I understand the support and guidance you deserve and will ensure you have it every step of the way. ​ As a wife and mother of a eight-year-old daughter, I developed a passion for breastfeeding and lactation consulting during my own postpartum journey. I faced many challenges and received mixed advice from healthcare professionals during this period, which led me to realize the importance of having access to knowledgeable and supportive resources. This realization fueled my dedication to infant nutrition and helping new families thrive. ​ I provide education, feeding plans, and other assistance to breastfeeding mothers, and I am a strong advocate for the benefits of infant nutrition, both physically and emotionally.

I offer both in home and in an office setting along with virtual opportunities to work with me. The conversation may start around breastfeeding but it does not end there. Dynamic movement is foundational to breastfeeding. During our visit, I will be helping you learn how to help your baby to move, which can often leach into helping mom learn how to move as well. While many of my clients are concerned with how baby’s mouth is working, I see oral function as the tip of the iceberg. We need to work from the ground level up to get lasting results. We look into what kind of support mothers need to thrive during postpartum. A mother’s health and vibrancy is reflected back by her baby. So to help a newborn that is struggling, we need to support that newborn’s mother. We talk about nutrients mothers need to support themselves and a robust milk supply and how nurture the essential nutrient of rest during a physically and emotionally demanding season. While our goal is address any feeding concerns your family is experiencing, we work from a wide lenses to ensure we are building a lasting foundation.

My passion as a Doula has roots in mental health care & advocacy, family bonding, trauma informed care, support for parents in recovery, disability navigation, young mother mentoring, & so much more.
