Hey my name is Santaya, I am a Birth doula.I work as a pregnancy coach while also being a personal trainer for delivery. I work with families to help them achieve their goals for birth. This means i meet with patients (and families) twice during pregnancy to go over needs and goals for clients birth plans. During my clients pregnancy i visit them every trimester to do a check up. In these visits i go over what to expect within that trimester and answer any of the patients questions. I also track the pregnancy in a book that i give to the patient after delivery. I offer business hours on call support to my clients. This means i will be available from 9 am-5pm for physical support, emotional support and informational support via text or call. I help assist/coach my clients with delivery at the hospital however long that may be.I don't have to do shift change. I am present during labor till a few hours after.I help support clients that decide on natural birth, epidural or C section. Postpartum clients usually feel they no longer need men after a couple hours. Most times this is natural for the family unit to adjust and adapt to normal everyday life. However, I also offer packages for postpartum newborn aftercare where I can assist with breastfeeding and overnight care of the newborn. My passion in life is the celebration of mothers. The navy was wonderful but now I am ready to do something I truly love and am passionate about; helping families with their breastfeeding and bonding experience. I am a mom of 3 and I also have 2 lady huskies. My children are Jase(9), Lynnon(7), and Heidi(11m). My husband-Alex- is also active duty in the Navy.
