Hey my name is Santaya, I am a Birth doula.I work as a pregnancy coach while also being a personal trainer for delivery. I work with families to help them achieve their goals for birth. This means i meet with patients (and families) twice during pregnancy to go over needs and goals for clients birth plans. During my clients pregnancy i visit them every trimester to do a check up. In these visits i go over what to expect within that trimester and answer any of the patients questions. I also track the pregnancy in a book that i give to the patient after delivery. I offer business hours on call support to my clients. This means i will be available from 9 am-5pm for physical support, emotional support and informational support via text or call. I help assist/coach my clients with delivery at the hospital however long that may be.I don't have to do shift change. I am present during labor till a few hours after.I help support clients that decide on natural birth, epidural or C section. Postpartum clients usually feel they no longer need men after a couple hours. Most times this is natural for the family unit to adjust and adapt to normal everyday life. However, I also offer packages for postpartum newborn aftercare where I can assist with breastfeeding and overnight care of the newborn. My passion in life is the celebration of mothers. Working with women and helping women build their families THIER way. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you feel you are in need of a doula please reach out. I offer 1hr consultations in person for $25 dollars.Or free 15 minute consultation over the phone. You can contact me via email @ taya.prodoula@gmail.com. Please contact me with any questions about services or to book consultation

We've had Candace with us on two birthing journeys and she is fantastic. She's incredibly knowledgeable and spent all the time we needed to feel ready for birth. We highly recommend her as your doula, whether your medical care team is wonderful (we love ours!) or if it needs supplementing. Our first experience with her was with our first baby. At that point, we had no idea what to expect and, honestly, I was scared about the pain of childbirth. Candace provided a series of classes for my husband and I. It really put me at ease and gave me confidence in my body's (and mind's) ability to have a very healthy, positive, and natural birth. She gave practical tips for nutrition (backed with science and different studies!), readying my body physically, partnering advice so my husband and I could be an effective team, how to prepare a birth plan, how to advocate for yourself during labor, and so much more. Because of the preparation Candace was able to guide us through, I've been able to have two incredibly successful, non-medicated, non-tearing, births. (Our first-born was 8lbs 13oz, and our second was 9lbs 2oz!) Not only is Candace available during our pregnancy journey and birth, she was also able to assist us postpartum as our lactation consultant, how to continue taking care of my recovering body, and checking in on our babies. Even when we had a miscarriage, she was able to provide lots of insight and encouragement during the entire process. She has lots of experience with different cultural backgrounds which was a plus for us —we're a biracial couple— and was also very supportive of our faith practice. She was accessible, flexible (Zoom or in-person), generous... We can't say enough good things! She will definitely be our go-to doula if we decide to have a third ;)

I am a certified Postpartum Doula serving Seattle and the surrounding areas. I have been working with families for many years as an early childhood nanny and as a doula, and have helping many families through the ups and downs of these early days. I truly love working with a family to help them feel more confident and capable about the choices they are making. I bring a nonjudgmental listening ear and helping hand, and want the whole family to feel brighter every time I'm there. I offer a sliding scale for solo parents, LGBTQIA+ families, BIPOC families, and low income folks - please reach out if you need some assistance!

In a world of social media, “parenting experts” are everywhere - the information overload can be so overwhelming and paralyzing, especially as first time parents… enter Zoe. The hardest thing to embrace as a first time mum was knowing how much you don’t know, so having support, both hands on and virtually, from a postpartum doula made all the difference. Zoe’s knowledge in childcare and child development, as well as postpartum care (with a genuine emphasis on CARE) has made all the difference in our first three months as parents. Any new parents know it’s easy to feel like you’re blundering through, and just trying to survive. Zoe’s demeanor is that of, “you are the parents, you are experts in YOUR child,” as she guides us with her own expertise. She has not only helped to educate, but has given us the tools and encouragement to implement new practices for ourselves. From answers about baby sleep - both naps and nighttime, routines and schedules, lactation support, to the ever important parental care (self care IS caring for your baby, thanks for the reminder, Zoe), developmental milestones, and even playtime (how do you play with a baby? Zoe knows). She has been a delight to work with, her communication is excellent, and in a time that can be frightening and isolating, Zoe has ensured that post partum is not something we ever felt “alone” in. After working with Zoe, it is impossible to think of how different our experience would have been without her, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her, and will hopefully get to work with her again for future children

I am super glad to have had Cadence as my doula. She is a very knowledgeable person, and her calm presence instantly put me at ease. I had a super busy agenda prior to birth and naturally tend to be introspective, so I didn't want to talk too much leading up to the birth. Cadence completely respected my choices and my space, yet she was always incredibly available and very responsive, stepping up to support me even during late nights when I had questions about what to buy or breastfeeding. She was absolutely marvelous on the delivery date. My labor took 3h30 of push, and she stayed by my side all the time, constantly turning me and doing massages to get me through it. She made sure I was fully taken care of by keeping me hydrated (she is a huge fan of bone broth) and fed, answering my questions, and helping me make decisions on the spot while fiercely maintaining my birth wishes. She also did a fantastic job supporting my family and my husband. On top of that, she registered beautiful pictures that are a great memory of that day and her postpartum support was thorough. I was super glad to have her on my side. She made me feel safe and relaxed and I super recommend her as a doula!

At first, my wife and I were opposed to getting a doula and thought we could do the process of giving birth by ourselves. But a friend of the family suggested Candace as our doula and couldn't stop singing her praises. After a little bit of back and forth, we decided to meet with her. Within five minutes of meeting her, we knew we wanted to have her as a doula for our birthing process. She had so much knowledge and experience to bring and when it was finally time to go to the hospital she met us in the emergency room 2 minutes after we got there. She was helpful and attentive the whole time and did all sorts of techniques and pressure points to help my wife through the process. She gave both my wife and I peace of mind through the entire experience and we recommend Candace to anyone who is pregnant and expecting a child. I can not imagine doing it without her.
