Over my 23 year career, I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the UK, New Zealand and Canada, finally settling in beautiful British Columbia. I am based in North Vancouver, married, and have two rambunctious boys aged 5 and 8. Having been through the incredible breastfeeding journey myself, (though at times its has been like more of a rollercoaster!) I have an understanding of the challenges you may be facing as new or seasoned parents with your feeding journey. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, specialized perinatal nursing education from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from a well-known medical sciences university. I have maintained strong academic performance throughout my education. Throughout my career, I have supported thousands of mothers and newborns during pregnancy, labour, birth, postpartum recovery, and the early newborn period. As a registered midwife, I independently attended a large number of births and gained extensive experience managing both routine deliveries and complex or urgent obstetrical situations.
