My name is Sandra Luz Alvarado and I am a postpartum doula and a Newborn Care Specialist. I was born in El Salvador and came to California 35 years ago. I have always been fascinated and humbled by the birthing process since working at a Maternity Hospital in Nepal many years ago, when I was a medical student in the UK.
