The cost of a midwife in Jupiter, FL can be influenced by several factors:

  • Type of Midwife

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) who work in hospital settings may have different pricing than Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) who attend home births or birth center deliveries.

  • Birth Setting

Hospital births with a midwife typically cost less out-of-pocket when covered by insurance, while home births and birth center deliveries may have different fee structures.

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Florida Medicaid covers certified nurse-midwife care in Jupiter, including prenatal services, delivery, and postpartum care, as required of Medicaid programs nationwide. Local choices are very limited, with two midwives listed within 60 miles. Coverage for licensed or certified professional midwives at home or birth-center deliveries depends on the Florida Medicaid plan and is not included for every member. For private insurance, check the policy’s benefits for midwives and the intended birth setting.

  • Experience and Specialization

Midwives with extensive experience, additional certifications, or specializations such as VBAC support or water birth may charge higher rates.

  • Geographic Location

Midwifery costs can vary based on the cost of living and demand for midwifery services in your specific area.

When considering hiring a midwife in Jupiter, FL, it's advisable to research and interview several midwives to find one who aligns with your birth plan, preferences, and budget. We had a harder than expected go during our first child with multiple sleepless nights and really wanted to have a better support framework for our second. Having Wendy as our nighttime doula was an amazing experience. She started a few days after our daughter was born and was crucial support for the first two months. Having her allowed my wife to make a faster recovery post birth and have her enjoy the baby a lot more. She is very professional, responsible, punctual and knowledgeable. After the first day which is always scary, we felt incredibly comfortable with her being with our baby. We highly recommend her. It made the newborn phase a lot of a better experience and my wife and I were both way more functioning and present for our little one. Being able to have the nights to fully rest is priceless and makes everything about life significantly better.

I can't explain how much having amber as my postpartum doula completely changed my postpartum experience (and my family's ). With my second child we decided to get a postpartum doula because after my first child I had a really difficult time. We now call her our angel. She anticipated what me and my family needed. Offering without imposing. Helping with anything we needed and more. Everyone in my family loves her and she became like part of our family. I can't recommend her enough. She's knowledgeable and kind. I trust her so much and I can't thank her enough.

Grey Graham

Accepts insurance
Packages from $800 · $32/hr

Hi everyone! My name is Grey Graham, and I am a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula, as well as a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Currently, I service South Florida (primarily), but I am open to traveling to North Florida, as well as any neighboring states. In my honest opinion, I think children are a precious gem, they are Gods gift to us here on Earth. They're just so sweet and actually quite fun to be around, I believe that they are the future and we can learn more from them then we think. I also love to see people happy and enjoying the life we've been blessed with. I decided to become a doula become after constantly stumbling across people with fears/ bad stories about giving birth and having children. I saw that people were afraid of having an actual baby, anxious that they'd be abandoned in the delivery room, and nervous about how to take care of them after. I've heard moms break down thinking they're not doing enough and failing their infant. That's where I come in. My ideal practice is to give judgment free help families adapt to bringing their baby home, understand any concerns they have, and hopefully aid them into becoming able to enjoy this milestone of their life.

Anna Tentina

3 years of experience
Packages from $600

Im Anna, labor Doula As a mother of three, I’ve experienced the powerful journey of natural birth firsthand, with one induction and two completely unmedicated births. These personal experiences, combined with my lifelong dedication to birth work, have deepened my commitment to helping other women embrace their innate strength and achieve a peaceful, instinctual birth. My path to becoming a doula was inspired by my mother, a labor and delivery nurse, and my role as an older sibling to five younger brothers and sisters. Additionally, for the past 20 years, I have assisted in animal births, witnessing how calm, meditative and instinctual the process can be. I bring this unique perspective to my work with women, helping them connect to their own natural ability to birth with ease, like a cat 😻. I will protect your space and make sure you are getting what you envision for yourself and your baby. I am a ProDoula-certified labor doula, CPR-certified, and fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. Serving all Palm Beach County.

Working with Anna was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. From the very beginning, I felt safe and calm in her presence. What made the experience even more special was knowing that she has three children of her own. It was so reassuring to have someone by my side who truly understands the journey of motherhood, not just professionally but personally as well. I also appreciated that her perspective on natural delivery aligned with mine. She supported my choices with such respect and encouragement, making me feel empowered every step of the way. Beyond her expertise in childbirth, Anna is incredibly knowledgeable about so many things! Her insights and advice went far beyond labor and delivery—she’s just a genuinely smart, well-rounded person, and I loved having someone so sharp and capable to lean on during such an important time. Anna made me feel safe, supported, and confident from start to finish, and I’ll always be grateful for her role in my birth experience.

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.
