As a devoted young mother of two, I've embraced the joys and challenges of parenthood with open arms. My journey through motherhood has ignited a deep-seated passion for supporting new moms and their precious newborns. Balancing the demands of raising my children with a steadfast commitment to education, I am making strides toward a noble and fulfilling career in healthcare. Currently, I am working diligently as a patient care technician (PCT) in postpartum care and as a birth doula, providing comfort and guidance to families during one of the most significant times of their lives. My aspirations don't stop there—I am on an ambitious path to become a Registered Nurse (RN), an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). With each step forward, I carry the pride of my personal and academic achievements, driven by the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of mothers and newborns.

As a birth and postpartum doula, I play a multifaceted role, providing emotional, physical, and informational support to mothers before, during, and shortly after childbirth. My aim is to help ensure a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience. During the prenatal phase, I offer guidance on birth plans, relaxation techniques, and what to expect during labor. During labor and delivery, I am there to offer comfort through pain relief techniques like massage, breathing exercises, and position changes. I also serve as an advocate for the mother's wishes, helping to communicate with medical staff and provide continuous reassurance and support. In the postpartum period, my role shifts to help the new family adjust to life with a newborn. This includes offering support with infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, infant soothing, and basic newborn care. As a lactation counselor, I specialize in breastfeeding education and support. I help address any breastfeeding challenges, from latching difficulties to milk supply issues, ensuring both the mother and baby are comfortable and the baby is well-nourished.
