As a certified childbirth educator and birth doula in South Carolina, I help de-mystify the medical journey, offer evidence based options and hands-on support prenatally, throughout labor, and postpartum. I have been a postpartum and childcare nanny for over 10 years and recently expanded into birthwork. I've worked with families and babies all my life, from growing up in a family of 12 throughout my education in Greenville South Carolina getting my MFA. Comprehensive Birth Package

Comprehensive Birth Package - $1000 (sliding scale and payment plan options available) Two or three comprehensive prenatal visits, including Birth Plan Class Comfort Measures Class Due date reservation block on my schedule Text and email access from the point of contract until final postpartum visit Evidence-based resources, handouts and research personalized to your journey Continuous labor support starting as soon as you need me during labor One in-home postpartum visit (2 hrs) to process birth experience and check on recovery Backup doula reservation so that you’re covered in the case of an emergency

Birth Classes

(travel fees may apply for outside Columbia area) (also available virtually) Birth Plan Class: Review and compile your ideal birth preferences De-mystify medical terms, medications, and procedures you may encounter Explore evidence-based options for labor interventions and pain management Formulate targeted questions to review with your OB/GYN or midwife Comfort Measures Class: A hands-on workshop to learn practical labor tools, counterpressure, and optimal birthing positions A look inside "What's in my Doula Bag" to preview helpful labor tools Spouses are highly encouraged to attend this session! Maternal Alignment Assessment & Personalized Movement Plan (Optional Add-On to Birth Package): An alignment screening to optimize pelvic space and fetal positioning Includes recommendations for movement and exercise and for outsourcing further support (such as chiropractor/massage therapist) Can be booked multiple times throughout your pregnancy as your body changes. Recommended starting second trimester unless experiencing earlier mobility concerns.

Virtual Birth Package

(An in-person doula is irreplaceable; however, in the event you are unable to have a doula with you, my services are still available to you!) As a childbirth educator and doula, I help de-mystify the medical journey, offer evidence based options and hands-on support prenatally, throughout labor, and postpartum. What I Offer: - Birth Packages (includes classes!) - Birth Classes: Birth Planning Class -- demystify terms and decide what YOU want for your birth with evidence based resources! Comfort Measures Class -- learn techniques and skills for navigating the labor process (spouses welcome!) - Postpartum Support - Maternal Alignment Assessments (whole-body analysis for fetal positioning and body preparedness!) - & Virtual Support! Whether or not it's possible for you to have a doula present at your birth, education and preparedness are HIGHLY recommended for a satisfying, confident birth experience!

Do you take insurance?

I do not bill through insurance. However, I am happy to offer you a superbill with your invoice that you can send through your insurance portal for potential reimbursement. I cannot guarantee your insurance will reimburse doula services.

Do you travel?

I primarily serve the Lexington/Columbia/Irmo/Chapin area of South Carolina, but am willing to travel for clients. Transportation fees may apply after 20 miles.
