About me

Hi, I’m Kaylie and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a birth doula based in Portland, Oregon - and service the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. I offer compassionate, personalized support to individuals and families throughout their pregnancy and birth journey. I became a doula because of a deep passion for helping others and a lifelong love for all things birth. I believe that everyone deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported—no matter their background, choices, or birth preferences. My role isn’t to lead or direct, but to walk alongside you; holding space for your intuition, your voice, and your vision of birth. I trust that you know what is best for you and your baby. As your doula, I’ll be by your side to listen, encourage, advocate, and honor your choices—without judgment and without agenda. I’m here to help you feel informed, respected, and connected every step of the way. Birth matters. You matter. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Service introduction

I believe birth is not a "one size fits all" and approach each client with a fresh perspective on tools to support. I utilize various techniques depending on what the client may need at any given time. During our prenatal appointments we will go over birth plan, coping techniques, breathing exercises, and chat about many ways to be prepared for labor and delivery. I am certified to use a TENS machine with my clients and have one on hand for use during labor, as well as birth combs, massage balls, and am skilled in different laboring and birthing positions. I offer Birth Doula services that start with prenatal meetings, continuous support during the birth and postpartum meetings as well.
