I need Support during my delivery at Emory Decatur. My plan is less intervention birth, strong mental support, friendly and knowledgeable doula. I am very scared of tearing and also making a bad decision out of fear. I’m scared of epidural and Pitocin as well (needles in general), because of some of their side effects.
Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? -Home or birthing center Provide your estimated budget -$1700-$2000 Describe your birth plan -I would like to do a water birth at home or at a birthing center. This is my first child so I’m not 100% sure what else I would need. I want to give birth to my third baby in hospital or birthing center. I have pregnancy Medicaid (Amerigroup) and would like all of the services and appointments to be covered by it. I want a vaginal delivery and probably no epidural since the last two failed. I would like delayed cord clamping and immediate skin to skin for the golden hour.
I want a midwife that will help me have a smooth labor, comfortable pregnancy & who’s also a good lactation consultant.
I am 26, it’s my first time. I have ulcerative colitis and severe anxiety/depression. Budget is negotiable as it is my first time, I’m not too sure what pricing should be, but of course the more affordable the better. But we are of course willing to pay for anything we want/need. We do not have much of a birthing plan yet, as me and my bf have not discussed it together yet. But I do like a few different ideas I have heard of. Less surgical intervention the better, that being said if I have to work harder to accomplish that, is fine. Probably will be needing a hospital or doctor to assist in the birth or aftercare because of my UC and anxiety.
I’m 35 yrs young ☺️ and this will be my 5th pregnancy. My last 3 pregnancies were cesarean. Due to the 2nd birth he was in there too long and didn’t want to come out and the 3rd was through surrogacy and she wanted a cesarean. So of course the 4th was automatically going to be the same. I want to have a vaginal delivery more than anything and more so a water birth. It’s been something I wanted to do for so long and just need a midwife who is willing to do it 🥹. Since I was told it was possible, I’m not giving in to be cut again! Please help, I reside in McDonough as well. Thanks so much!
Home water birth, unmediated, delayed cord cutting. $5000
I like calm and privacy, am not a fan of hospitals or traditional medical care. This is my first pregnancy, about 4 1/2 weeks in, leaning towards doing a home birth. Don't know a budge yet and have not thought about birth plan.
I am 8 weeks along and hoping to have a homebirth in Hoschton, GA. This is my first pregnancy, and I would really love to find a Certified Nurse-Midwife who my insurance (Cigna) accepts. I have the Cigna Open Access Plus (OAP) plan. I am willing to drive up to an hour for office visits if the midwife could be at my home for the birth.
