Welcome! I’m Jessica Rogers. I am a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Certified Lactation Counselor with a deep passion for supporting families through one of the most powerful journeys of their lives: pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I was trained through DONA International and am actively working towards birth and postpartum certification. I was certified as a lactation counselor by the ALPP after completing the Center for Breastfeeding course and passing the exam. My own experience becoming a mother ignited this calling in me, and it grew even stronger during my second pregnancy. This season can be transformative, overwhelming and beautiful all at once, and you do not have to go through it alone. As your doula, I will be a dedicated and compassionate support system, someone who not only respects you but also walks beside you like a trusted friend throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. My mission is to inspire mothers to understand normal newborn behaviors, connect with their children through feedings and watching them blossom into confident parents. I’m so glad I found this career path for myself. Marc Antony says “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”. I’m fortunate to say I found just that in the work I do. The experience of bringing home a new baby is still very fresh in my mind. I remember the mixture of emotions like love, joy, excitement mixed with anxiety, worry and exhaustion. Breastfeeding was so precious but also so challenging. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this experiences. I have become passionate about helping others find their confidence, provide them with tools and knowledge to reach their goals and understand their baby’s language.

I became a birth worker after experiencing 2 hard-fought laboring experiences and feeling like my options during labor were limited to what was hospital routine and whatever was financially incentavizing for my medical providers.
