I am needing a new OBGYN that is a female as well as a foula that is covered by my insurance. I have been labeled a high risk pregnancy and I have concerns my OBGYN is going to try and force me out of my birth plans. Due Jan 9th 2027. Plan on hospital birth (only for emergencies if needed and meds if needed). I want to go as long as I can without meds, up and moving, yoga balls, and try different positions with labor including if an epidural is needed. (I don't want to lay in a bed and be miserable during contractions. I also don't want to push on my back.) I would need someone who is willing to set up a payment plan. Idk what the normal fees are but around $3,000 is what I could do. I am up for anyone as long as they are willing to be in my corner. Insurance is a Blue Cross Blue shield PPO.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and the first one had an unexpected c-section, and thus, I'm searching for a VBAC doula. I plan on giving birth at a hospital, and the insurance is Blueshield/Bluecross.

We hope for a natural vaginal birth. We live in North Austin so we will be giving birth in St. David North Austin.

Also someone that can tell my doctor No when necessary times or what I need the most someone I can build a connection with becomes friends with has knowledge on childbirth, patience, and also key things that I can do eat that will help my body during the process of pregnancy.

Hospital, Unknown cost, Natural birth - but need assistance on how

TL:DR - LOOKING FOR JUST 1 OVERNIGHT POSTPARTUM DOULA FOR 2-3 Nights/week for next few weeks. PART-TIME ONLY. NO AGENCIES. ------------------------------------------- Our baby girl was born July 15, 2026 and is 6 weeks old now! We've been fortunate to have had a very nice experience with our two full-time overnight postpartum doulas in the first 6 weeks. However, Carrot only allows the first 6 weeks to be covered and they are now up. We'd love to retain them but both our amazing doulas have their next family lined up for full-time nightly engagements each. Our experience with them was so valuable to us that we now are looking to retain a reduced part-time overnight schedule -- 2 or 3 nights per week, 8 hrs per night for the next few weeks on an as-you-go basis until we feel ready to be entirely on our own. I (dad) will be the primary overnight caregiver for 4-5 nights and our overnight doula will supporting our family transition by allowing me a few nights to rest each week We will be paying out of pocket. This is a long shot and admittedly not a huge engagement in terms of hours, but if you have 2 nights available in your schedule starting Labor Day in September and early October, we should talk!

I plan to have a home birth with doula. This will be my second birth- I had my first one at a birth center.

I plan to give birth at home, as naturally as possible. Our budget is around $1,000, but we are willing to pay more depending on the services. My birth plan is simply to have our baby at home and go from there. It's not a strict plan, and I'm open to changes that mean me and the baby are safe and healthy. No requirements needed, I'm happy to have someone who is new. I'm new to this, and we can learn together! Id love help with sleep training, lactation, postpartum.

I am not expecting yet, but I want to be fully prepared. I would like to have a natural water birth at a birthing center. I hope to not use any medication unless it is really needed. I have a mental health therapist and have struggled with many mental issues since I was around 12 years old. Fear is my biggest hurdle.

Hi I’m Caroline! I’m 27 years old, due November 25, an army wife, and this baby will be my first. I am nervous about a few aspects of birth-I’d like someone who can help guide me and tell me my options, help me labor as much as possible at home, and can help advocate for me in the hospital while helping me make informed decisions. Unsure about whether I want natural or epidural; I would prefer natural at this point but I’ve never experienced birth pain before so I want the ability to be flexible. Since I’m an army spouse, I’d need someone who can join me on post at BAMC. Based on other friends experiences, my expected budget is somewhere around $1,200. As far as birth plans go, I don’t know much since I’m still very early on. I do hope to labor as much as possible at home as I’m pretty scared of hospitals. I’d love to hear what some options are for birth plans.
