I plan to give birth in a hospital I would like the cheapest budget And I need help with making a birth plan
I’m really nervous about labor and delivery. I want an epidural and am good with medical intervention. I’m nervous that my husband won’t be calm during the birthing process. I need someone who can help me be calm through it and help coach my husband through it. I also am nervous about being very vulnerable during birth and consent is very important for me and want to make sure I feel comfortable and not taken advantage of. Giving birth at Sibley I’m also very nervous about postpartum. This is my first pregnancy
Looking for overnight post partum doula care to support my first 6 weeks post partum
Hello my name is Tenae Mitchell. I am a first time mom , who’s considered high risk pregnancy. Currently seeking a doula for overall support from now up until a little after my pregnancy during the postpartum phase. I am currently five months and am seeking to deliver at Washington Hospital center.
First baby, planning to give birth at Mercy in Baltimore. We are so excited to meet our little one, but I am very anxious about the birthing process and potential complications (as a "geriatric" pregnancy). Would like to try natural, but I will not say no to an epidural if needed, especially if induced. We are hoping our insurance will cover our doula fees and likely can not afford otherwise.
First baby, hospital birth at Georgetown. Would like to labor naturally as long as possible but I am not totally against pain relief. Would love a doula who can support me in different positioning, hip squeezes etc and help me exercise my full agency during birth. It’s important to me to find someone who is a blend of holistic care and Western medicine. We’d also love for our doula to help us a bit after birth with postpartum and newborn care. Tri-Care East (Humana military) will cover the six hours worth of visits + one untimed visit for birth so we need someone who is a participant with them. After that our budget for postpartum/newborn support is $1,000 but we are open to discussing that further.
I want to have a home birth but if need to go to hospital I’m open. I plan for services to be covers by insurance and my insurance provider is United Healthcare.
Seeking TRICARE certified and participating doula. Plan to give birth in Washington Hospital, DC. Hoping to keep budget under whatever is covered by TRICARE. Mother is 35 years old, planning for birth in hospital.
I plan to give birth at a birthing center. I’m looking for quotes and don’t necessarily have an estimated budget. I want to have an unmedicated birth with support from a doula and midwife — who are ideally Black. I’d like providers that have experience, especially with clients who have trauma history. I am 31 years old and nonbinary. I am looking for care and support prenatal, during birth, and after. My insurance provider is Carefirst, an HMO plan.
I would love to deliver at home. But I think I will have to go to Medstar Harbor hospital. I am hoping my insurance covers the cost I am currently not working. I would like to have as natural as possible birth at the hospital. I want to have freedom to walk around and try a squatting position for birth. I do not have requirements for the provider. I just want someone with a good heart and passion for what they do. I am all alone and need the support.
I’m looking for a midwife to help me with having my first natural unmedicated birth. I have always wanted a home birth. This will be my second child. I am only 4 weeks almost 5. Would love someone who specializes or has experience with v-bacs!
First Baby, hoping for unmediated birth, in Baltimore city MD area, has Medicaid insurance with Kaiser Permanente
I have had 4 birth C-Sections and 1 ectopic pregnancy that lead to me having a surgery…I would love to not have another c-section and I just need someone there for me to advocate for myself..I would love to have a hospital birth.I don’t know how much any of this cost
I need a birth doula for sure. I plan to give birth at Sibley hospital in DC. Budget is negotiable, although I'd like to stay under $2,000 if possible. I would like someone with at least 5 years' experience. I'm a 46-year-old first-time mom. My insurance provider is Carefirst BCBS. Doulas are a covered benefit. I have a BluePreferred PPO plan. I'd also like information about lactation consultants and night nannies. Thank you!
