Daytime postpartum care

One-off non contract based Postpartum care for families during the daytime between the hours of 8am-8pm

$35 USD · Per hour

Overnight postpartum care

Overnight one-off non contracted postpartum overnight care that is between the hours of 8pm-8am

$40 USD · Per hour

Prenatal check up

Prenatal check up includes check in with baby doppler to hear heartbeat, measurements for belly, and if far enough along - birth plan and postpartum plan preparation. These types of visits take anywhere from 1-3 hours generally.

$100 USD · Flat rate

What to expect

Layla, originally from the small town of Reno, made Portland, Oregon her home six years ago, drawn by its stunning landscapes and expansive forested areas. Since 2019, she has been dedicated to working with children in the field of early childhood education. As of 2024, she has established herself as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care to all her clients. In 2025 Layla furthered her education and also got her Newborn Care Specialist certification as well as became a Certified Sleep Consultant! She now works with Bridgetown Baby as a Postpartum doula.

Layla was the first person that we have brought into our home for such a sensitive period. We usually have family exclusively during the postpartum period but finally after two children, wanted to see the other side of things with a postpartum doula. My family was so happy when she arrived - and she stepped right in and became part of our family. She figured her way around our home like it was her own and was so useful during the overnights - I truly now understand why people hire this service now. The luxury of having someone you trust taking care of your children is a true blessing! Not only that - all of our boundaries and home rules we're respected. We felt so comfortable and would have her again if we weren't done having kids! Thank you Layla!

Layla was a serious baby whisperer during those first few weeks. My husband and I had no idea what we we're doing when we brought our little one home, she was so inviting and caring - plus the calmest person in the room when baby was crying and we didn't know what to do! Seriously, she takes her role as a doula seriously and puts all of us first. Not only did she take care of me and my family but also our home! We we're sad to see her go, but we know she will do such great work with countless others in the future!

Layla provided wonderful support when providing support with our infant. She was prompt and professional as well as warm and nurturing. We seriously COULD NOT have gotten the sleep and rest we truly needed without her. Also if you get a chance to try her baking you'll be SPOILED!
