Larah believes everyone deserves a village. She also knows asking for help is one of the most difficult and courageous things people can do. Helping families identify their needs during the transition to parenthood is one of the best gifts she can offer. Larah is there to come alongside families and help them figure out what they need to grow. She has a strong desire to help families to feeling rested, confident and resourceful. Larah always takes the family’s culture, ideas, beliefs, hopes and desires in to consideration. This allows her to help frame their new family around them. She’s has experience supporting many different families with many different challenges. This includes addiction recovery, infants with special needs and sleep support. I currently provide only overnight care. Bio: As a postpartum doula, my main goal is to meet families where they are and identify how I can best support their particular needs and desires. I believe that what works for one family might not work for another, and by getting to know your family I can help establish a happy and balanced home. I am passionate about accepting people for who they are and being a non-judgmental and supportive person in their lives. I want to be your biggest cheerleader – supporting you to be the parents you aspire to be, while providing helping hands and answering any questions you have along the way. As a mother to a vivacious pre-teen, I’ve experienced many of the beautiful highs and challenging lows that can accompany motherhood. Though we are both happy and healthy now, my daughter’s early years were filled with unexpected challenges—hospital stays, years of solo parenting, and eventually successful co-parenting. I’m so grateful for these experiences because they have fueled my passion for supporting families navigating co-parenting struggles, lack of familial support, recovery, and mental health challenges, including past trauma. When I gave birth in 2013 I had no idea that postpartum doula support even existed. I thought new moms were just supposed to figure it out and stumble through on their own – and if I couldn’t, then something must be wrong with me. Now, I know better, and my mission is to ensure that all families understand that support is available and that they are not meant to do it all alone. My personal goal is to meet people where they are and provide postpartum support in whatever ways they feel most comfortable receiving it. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I spent over 20 years as a nanny and childcare provider, and earned an associate degree in pre-education. Four years ago, a friend introduced me to the world of postpartum doula work – a career I had never heard of but instantly knew was meant for me. Her description of what a postpartum doula does sounded like an absolute dream career for me, and within weeks, I began my training. Since then, I wake up every day full of awe and gratitude that I get to do work that I love and that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. As a bona fide, lifelong night owl who spent years trying to adjust to a morning-person world, I’ve finally found my calling offering families overnight doula care during my “prime time” hours. Born and raised in Oregon, I’ve been happily married to my best friend and biggest cheerleader for three years. Together, we’ve blended our family with my daughter and his son. Now that our kids are older, we are passionate about travel and experiencing all that this world has to offer. After years of letting life slide by, I now make a point of trying to engage in and savor the experiences, events, or opportunities that come my way. My friends and family often joke about my endless energy and zest for life

I have always had a passion to support women and babies every since I was younger. I have been in the medical field for 7 years now since I graduated high school and am a medical assistant. I have also been a newborn nanny to multiple families. I fell in love the women’s health/OBGYN/labor and delivery when I started as a medical assistant 4 years ago and was a medical assistant for 2 years at a women’s clinic and fell in love with the women’s clinic and got to shadow over 10 births by the midwives and OB’s at the clinic. I am currently applying for nursing school to become a labor and delivery nurse but wanted to be active in this field of work right now, so this is where I decided to become a birth doula. I feel that I am very equipped and experienced in this field and cannot wait to meet you and your family and help you bring your baby(s) into the world in a way you feel comfortable and proud of and I am here to support you along that journey!

Having a newborn or infant is a wonderful and exciting time but can take a lot out of parents. I would love to support a new family by providing loving and reliable Night time care. My background is in pediatrics. After over ten years in patient care, I stepped back to focus on my 3 children who are now school ages. Since I miss caring for babies and I am comfortable working at night (did this as a nurse), I would love to be a night nanny. I am very attentive, caring, and comfortable with the care of babies.

Hello lovely families! I’m a postpartum doula, lactation counselor, and newborn care specialist, as well as a mother who has personally navigated the joys and challenges of early parenthood—including my own experience with postpartum depression. That journey deepened my commitment to holding space for families during the tender postpartum period, offering not just practical support but also emotional presence and understanding. With over seven years of experience leading an infant classroom and working as a nanny, I bring a strong foundation in early childhood development and hands-on infant care to the families I serve. My work is grounded in community care and social justice, centering the needs of marginalized families who too often face gaps in postpartum support. I approach each family with a holistic lens, blending evidence-based newborn and lactation guidance with an unwavering commitment to equity and collective healing. Supporting parents isn’t just my profession—it’s a calling shaped by lived experience, continued learning, and a deep love for this vital, sacred transition

Hello! I’m Jordan, and I'm deeply passionate about nurturing families and caring for little ones. After spending more than a decade as a nanny, I discovered just how much I love showing up for families in whatever way they need, day by day. Being closely connected to many families and dear friends during their pregnancies, births, and postpartum journeys opened my eyes to just how transformative and intense the perinatal season can be. That experience sparked a desire in me to learn everything I could about supporting people during this sacred time, and it quickly became clear that becoming a doula was my calling. I went on to train as a fertility, birth, and postpartum doula, and found myself especially drawn to supporting families during the postpartum period. It's a time that often feels overlooked, despite being so crucial. I completed my postpartum doula certification and began my work, focusing on offering real, tangible support when families need it most. As a postpartum doula, I’m here to walk alongside new parents as they find their footing and build confidence in their own instincts. My approach is rooted in being a calm, grounding, and consistent presence during what can be an overwhelming transition. I tailor my support to meet each family's individual needs because no two postpartum journeys look the same. It’s incredibly important to me that the families I support feel safe, heard, and cared for, every step of the way. One of the biggest challenges I noticed early on was sleep, or more accurately, the serious lack of it. Wanting to better guide families through that hurdle, I became certified as an Infant and Family Sleep Specialist. Supporting families with sleep, including overnight care, has since become a core part of my work and something I care deeply about. As a queer person, I’m especially passionate about affirming and supporting families of all kinds. It’s a true honor to be welcomed into such a personal and powerful chapter in someone’s life, and I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunity to do this work. Please note: I have a the majority of my testimonials on google under Bun and Bundle

Hello! My name is Angel McGinn and I have worked as a Registered Nurse for the past 15 years. My favorite positions were the ones I held as a Postpartum and/or Labor and Delivery nurse. I love being with families as they transition into parenthood and/or continue to grow their families. I’ve worked in many different areas of nursing, but decided to step away from the hospital to pursue my dream of becoming a Doula and being able to provided 1:1 client care. Additionally, I struggled with breastfeeding both of my boys, which prompted me obtain my CLC -lactation certification, so that I could be of assistance others in their chest/breastfeeding journey. Being a Doula is a new role for me, but this work is 100% aligned with what I believe I was made for. I have always wanted to be able to provide care at this level, so this transition has been like a dream come true for me! I am married and this year will be our 13th wedding anniversary in September. We have three children together and my husband has two from a previous marriage that are now young adults. Our two boys are 12 and 3.5 and we have a sweet baby girl that lives in heaven. Hi there! I’m Stephanie, a birth doula based in Salem, and I’m so excited to support you and your family through this transformative journey. Before stepping into birth work, I spent 11 years as a teacher, working with students from diverse backgrounds. That experience shaped my deep belief in meeting people where they are, adapting my approach to their individual needs, and honoring their personal goals. Birth is not one-size-fits-all, and you deserve support that respects your choices, values, and instincts. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, preparing for birth, or adjusting to life with a new little one, I’m here to provide compassionate care every step of the way. I believe that knowledge is power—especially when it comes to birth. My role is to provide guidance, reassurance, and continuous support so you can navigate this journey feeling empowered and prepared. I also understand that birth doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s an experience that impacts your partner, family, and birth team. That’s why I provide comprehensive support to your entire circle, making sure everyone feels informed, involved, and empowered. Birth isn’t just about the baby—it’s about you, your well-being, and the experience you want to create. Inclusivity and respect are at the heart of my practice. I’m passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health and emotional well-being, and I firmly believe that every family deserves the support they need—whether that’s through professional help, community resources, or simply having someone to lean on. I am committed to being an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and advocating for anti-racist practices in all aspects of my work. Your family is unique, and I’m here to support you in a way that feels right for you. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll probably find me curled up with a romance or fantasy novel, getting lost in a new crafting project, or tending to my ever-growing collection of plants (and trying to give away new starts I’ve rooted on my windowsill). I also love experimenting with vegetarian and vegan recipes, going on long walks, and enjoying imaginative games with my husband and two kids. No matter how your birth unfolds, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and fully supported. Whether you're loving every moment of pregnancy or just trying to survive it, you don’t have to do it alone. I’d love to walk alongside you on this journey!

Hello, my name is Alyx Cucci and I am a certified birthworker living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I have personally experienced a hospital birth, a birth center birth as well as a home birth and although they were all exceptionally different I loved each of them equally. As a birthworker I am a firm believer in the magic that is created by a birthing person and their partner during the entirety of the birth process. I am always grateful to be chosen as a witness to these extraordinary experiences and my ultimate hope is that I am more of a witness than anything else. I work hard to educate and empower a couple before the arrival of their baby so when the time comes, they are able to confidently and comfortably take control of their birth with me their merely as an extra set of hands when needed or sometimes to simply hold space. I also believe that there is a birthworker for everyone. We are not one size fits all and neither are you. And….THATS OKAY. I love chatting with potential clients and seeing if we are a match. Most often we are, and sometimes we are not. Childbirth can make women feel vulnerable and unsure. They need somebody they can completely trust and open up to. Somebody they can feel vulnerable and unsure with. And let’s be honest, sometimes we just done jive with others. I want potential clients to understand that I am just one type of doula. I am open and honest and blunt. I believe in this magic down in the deepest parts of my soul. I am knowledgeable and empowering; I care genuinely for each of my clients but I am not the fit for every woman. Thankfully, if I am not, there is another who is. And I want you to have that birthworker attend your birth and stand witness to your miracle. Lets chat, no hard feelings. 😊

Hi everyone! My experience with birth started with my first birth: my son was born peacefully at home in the water. I fell in love with birth right away, and began taking doula classes. My approach to prenatal, labor, and postpartum care is mother and family centered. I’ve also trained in labor massage, Ayurvedic postpartum nutrition, childbirth education, and as a lactation educator and placenta specialist. My goal is to offer support, assurance, and information to my families at every step of their early parenthood journey. My philosophy and education align best with mamas who are pursuing natural birth and holistic support. I have experience with VBACs, HBACs, and free births.
