Hi! I am a lactation consultant and Doula (birth and Postpartum). I started my career as a medical assistant in an Intergrative/Holistic Pediatric clinic. I loved working with families and after experiencing breastfeeding issues with my first baby I decided to pursue a career in lactation. I have worked in pediatrics, hospital and home visits supporting families pursue their feeding goals. My next step in my career was fulfilling my dream of becoming a doula and supporting families prenatally and through postpartum. I feel truly blessed doing the best job in the world. Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a postpartum doula currently working on my certification with DONA international. With a background in psychology and as a mom myself, I know that the postpartum period sets such an important tone for a person's transition into parenthood as well as for the partnerships of parents, and I love that I get to serve families in that transition. During pregnancy she prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. With no family or support around made her 4th trimester a very difficult time for her and her partner. Yose completed her Birth Worker training with Bebo Mia Inc when her daughter was only 3 months old. After the training she realized that she wanted to take a more ancestral approach in birth work, and began learning about Mexican Birth and Postpartum Traditions. Hello! I’m Joselyn, a proud mom who chose home births for my two little ones. Let's look back at my life before motherhood when the idea of childbirth intimidated me more than anything, thanks to all those stories and dramatic TV shows with women screaming their heads off in the delivery room. When I became pregnant with my daughter back in 2020, I dove into research, preparing my mind, body, and spirit for a positive birth—but I completely overlooked planning for postpartum and felt quite overwhelmed. Wanting to enhance my skills, I completed a 112-hour training with Bebo Mia Inc. and became certified with Pro Doula to become a full-spectrum doula. My journey also led me to explore the rich traditions of Mexican indigenous birth and postpartum practices, allowing me to honor my heritage while expanding my knowledge.

I am a proud wife and mother of 3. I love helping women and families in their journey to/through parenthood by giving support prenatally, during labor & postpartum! I feel it is imperative for parents to have the support they need to ensure they have the best experience possible during a big transition like having a family or extending your family.

As a birth worker I have attended 106 births in various settings including home, birth center, and hospitals. Throughout my own life’s journey starting at a very young three years old, I have both fallen deeply in love with all things holistic and gathered various skills that have made me the woman I am today. My intention is to teach women to know and understand their worth and individuality by providing them hope and confidence in themselves. By integrating my knowledge of both western medicine as well as complementary and alternative medicine I am able to initiate self-efficacy for women throughout their lifespan and birth experiences.
