I birthed my little one during the summer of 2021 at home (doula and midwife in attendance), which is what ultimately led me to doula work. Hello, I’m Vashti. When I’m not helping mommas have their babies I’m enjoying mine. My husband and I are born and raised in Los Angeles County. I dream of raising a house full of kids that can grow up together. When I had my two babies, I knew I wanted to attempt the natural route, and natural I went. My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. Having experienced birth in such sweet and different ways, I decided how in love with the birth experience I was. I knew many birth story’s that were expressed as bad, and my hearts desire was to become to those mommas a redemptive roadmap back into the birth world, and to new mommas, a roadmap where a bad birth experience wasn’t in their story - So I became a birth doula. My heart in the birth world as a Christian certified Doula is to remind mothers that they were created for such a miraculous work and are so much more capable of birth then they realize. I loved working with families and after experiencing breastfeeding issues with my first baby I decided to pursue a career in lactation. I have worked in pediatrics, hospital and home visits supporting families pursue their feeding goals. My next step in my career was fulfilling my dream of becoming a doula and supporting families prenatally and through postpartum. I feel truly blessed doing the best job in the world. While studying at UCLA, I fell in love with maternal and fetal health. My background in human biology laid the foundation for my knowledge of perinatal health and the social and environment factors that can impact one's birth experience. My additional background in art and architecture also informs my practice, inspiring the kinds of embodied experiences I want to guide clients through. My approach as a doula is rooted in science, continuous learning, and education. I believe that understanding your body and your clinical and non-clincal options can reduce fear, build confidence, and support true self-advocacy in any setting. I will never tell you how you should birth, but I will support you in discovering what feels right for you. My hope is that you feel wholey and completely yourself during this incredible moment! I trained at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks in Spring 2025 and am currently working toward certification through DONA International. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.

My name is Tina Louise and I love supporting families around their birth experience. I'm passionate about birth and working to improve birth outcomes in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. I attended my first birth at the age of 16 years in a homebirth community and knew this was a calling for me. I attended home births, birth centers and hospital births, and finally decided to become certified as a Doula in 2014. I have volunteered with Joy in Birthing Foundation, worked as a private doula under Doula Sisters LA and began with SBCC a as a Community-based Doula in 2018. I am experienced in all forms of doula support, Lactation, Childbirth Education, Spinning Babies, Placenta Encapsulation, Infant Massage and a Reiki II practitioner. I am currently only taking at risk clients for doula support through SBCC and providing birth placenta encapsulation, Spinning Babies classes and Reiki II sessions to Southwest Los Angeles, Long Beach and surrounding cities.
