About me
Hi! I’m Maddie, a local birth and postpartum doula serving the general Marion county area (and some surrounding locations). I've been in the birth work field for 3 years now and feel honored to have supported the 20+ individuals and families through their pregnancy, delivery and postaprtum time. I feel it really is a blessing being able to support you through one of life’s most profound experiences. My mission is to provide compassionate care and reliable information during your pregnancy, labor and early postpartum period, ensuring that you feel supported and empowered every step of the way. Every birthing person deserves a steady hand and a listening ear, and I am committed to making my services accessible to everyone, regardless of financial barriers. Quality support should be a universal right, and I strive to ensure that all who need it can receive it. My approach to doula support is deeply informed by both my personal experiences as a mother and my professional training. I completed my training with Mothertree Birth Services under the guidance of Jesse Remer, and this blend of knowledge and lived experience allows me to offer you both expert guidance and heartfelt empathy. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you, providing comfort, support and advocacy as you navigate this transformative time!

Service introduction
As your birth doula, I’m dedicated to providing supportive care throughout your birthing journey. Our time together begins with two prenatal visits where we’ll talk through your birth preferences, address any concerns, and practice labor positions to help you feel confident and prepared. During labor, I’ll provide continuous, personalized support, offering emotional reassurance, practical assistance, and educational guidance to help you navigate each stage with calm and confidence. After the birth, I offer two postpartum visits tailored to your family’s needs. Whether it’s discussing your birth story, helping with light household tasks, holding the baby so you can rest, or offering advice on breastfeeding or feeding, I’m here to provide thoughtful and caring support as you transition into this new chapter.
