Hi! I'm 24 years old and currently 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am looking for a supportive, encouraging doula to help me prepare for labor and birth. I'd like someone who can help me feel calm and confident, explain what's happening during labor, and guide me through comfort measures, breathing, positioning, and relaxation techniques. I'm interested in learning more about water birth if it's an option for me, and I'd like support creating a birth plan that fits my preferences. My partner plans to be present during labor, so I'd love a doula who is comfortable supporting both of us and helping us work together as a team. Since this is my first pregnancy, I'm looking for someone is is patient, reassuring, and willing to answer questions so I feel prepared and informed throughout the process. My goal is to have a positive, supported birth experience while keeping both me and my baby healthy and safe.

I had a c section with my son 4 years ago they said he wouldn’t come down but was in birth canal when they pulled him out if me. I was so upset as I was 8cm dilated and had labored so long. I am now pregnant again and really want a Vbac if possible. I’m really trying to be a lot more healthy this pregnancy and take care of my body and prepare for birth. I’m so scared of a uterine rupture but I know my body can do this. I will birth in a hospital but want someone to help advocate for myself so I’m not just stuck on a bed. I really don’t have much money but would be willing to set up a min to plan? I don’t know how that works. I just really want this Burt to be so much more peaceful and smooth if possible with no water breaking and laboring at home until I can’t anymore.. I still learning a lot and putting my exact plan together

Hello, I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second child and am reaching out to see if you have availability for a high-risk client in the Fredericksburg or surrounding areas. My situation is urgent. I had a preventative cerclage placed at 16 weeks (following an emergency cerclage at 20 weeks with my first child). At my appointment, my doctors discovered my cervix has opened halfway. I am now on strict medical bedrest at home and taking vaginal progesterone. My medical team has explicitly stated there is a 50/50 chance I may deliver early, and I am preparing for a potential preterm birth. Because of this, the care I need from a doula is very specific: Virtual or In-Bed Prenatal Support: Emotional guidance, help processing birth preferences for a high-risk or potentially premature delivery, and coping strategies while I navigate strict bedrest. On-Call Flexibility: Continuous labor and delivery support if I am rushed to the hospital early, or if we make it to full term. High-Risk Advocacy: A calm, knowledgeable presence who can help my husband and me navigate a fast-moving clinical environment or unexpected NICU stay. I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Women's Center. I live in Fredericksburg VA. I am looking for a Christian/ Christ centered doula who is well versed in high risk black maternal health and can advocate well for me. I want hands off care as much as possible. Not many cervical checks. NO episiotomy or forceps. Labor the way a position feels comfortable to me. Also, a plus is someone with a trauma based care mentality as I have gone through sexual assault and I need emphasis on consent. I need someone who is going to help when fear tries to come up. Someone not afraid to pray and set the atmosphere well. My biggest fear is becoming a statistic and something happening to me during or after birth because no one listened to me and how I feel about my body. MUST ACCEPT CareFirst (Private BCBS). I would only like services that will be covered.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. We’re gathering price points right now. We’re looking for a birth and postpartum doula; we would really like to have someone who could help with overnight support in the first couple months.

I am currently on my second pregnancy with twins! I reside in Fredericksburg but do plan to give birth at Stafford hospital, just like I did with my first. I am hoping to go natural but am flexible in my birth plan due to the risks of having twins (preterm labor, c section, etc). I am mostly looking for someone that can help provide care during the nights in the very beginning for the twins. I will be breastfeeding so I’ll be up as well but am really wanting help on changes, potential bottle feed once or twice through the night while I pump, and putting them back to sleep. I hardly slept with my first and struggled deeply with PPD and would like to avoid that at all cost. I am open to any caregiver but would prefer female only, and at least 2-4 years experience.
