My name is Emma and I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and mom of two serving Ventura County and located in the Ojai Valley, CA. I am here to walk by your side and support you as you plan for and navigate your infant feeding journey and to help you find what works best for you and your baby. I completed my lactation education through a rigorous training through UC San Diego through the Lactation Pathway 2 educational certificate program. I spent hundreds of hours of clinical training under the guidance of longtime IBCLC’s/lactation consultants at Kaiser Santa Rosa in their pediatric clinic providing hands on care to families with newborns and infants. I can help you navigate and customize plans based on your individual needs and infant feeding goals with issues such as: improving baby’s latch, breastfeeding positions, questions/concerns on infant weight gain or milk transfer, supply issues, nipple or breast pain, clogged ducts or mastitis, combination feeding and supplementation, pumping, back to work plans, introducing solids, night weaning, pregnancy and breastfeeding, tandem feeds, food allergies and breastfeeding, medication use in breastfeeding, or weaning. I have personal experience navigating infant food allergies while breastfeeding as well as navigating caring for a medically complex child. Hi everyone, I'm Robin Kaplan, the owner of the San Diego Breastfeeding Center. I have been an IBCLC since 2009 and a functional nutrition counselor since 2023. Our mission at our infant feeding center is to provide judgment-free, expert infant feeding support. Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) provide expectant and new parents with compassionate guidance and education about chest/breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, functional nutrition, and infant care.

Tina Montalto, IBCLC, LMT, CST Tina Montalto is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and licensed massage therapist dedicated to supporting families through all stages of the infant feeding journey. With over a decade of experience in the mother-baby field, she provides comprehensive lactation care through her private practice, offering both in-home and telehealth consultations tailored to the unique needs of each family. Tina completed her lactation training at the University of California, San Diego and holds massage therapy certification from the National Holistic Institute. She brings a unique, integrative approach to her work by combining clinical lactation expertise with therapeutic bodywork—particularly for prenatal, postpartum, and infant clients. She is also certified in manual lymphatic drainage through Klose Training, providing additional support for postnatal healing and wellness. Her professional background includes pediatric hospice training with The Heart Touch Project and volunteer service at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, where she offered palliative care massage for NICU AND PICU patients. Camille began 17 years ago as a Holistic health and nutrition coach and then an Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. She later became a Postpartum Doula after realizing her clients bonded better with each other and with their baby as she nourished new mothers to speed their healing and while teaching them specialized newborn care skills. Camille advanced her training as a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor and Lactation Consultant through UCSD and then became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her work with 2000+ mothers with lactation and their newborns provides new mothers confident their recovery and feeding goals, as their body transitions into a new life force for their new baby. Camille launched Nourish Meal Delivery, an Ayurvedic pregnancy & postpartum meal delivery service with allergy-free & diabetic cooking. Camille is experienced in stabilizing all conditions postpartum, knowing the cause and results of certain properties in herbs and foods, their effects on breast milk composition & quality, increasing milk production, and balancing vata dosha in the body vital to detoxing and healing immediately after birthing and in the first 8 weeks. Training as a Hypnobabies Birth Doula after her clients opened up to her about situations they faced in pregnancy and during labor, she realized most could have been prevented had they & their partner known how to prevent common ailments or navigate the medical environment to advocate for themselves. In my professional life, my experiences includes supporting populations like pregnant and postpartum women, infants, children, low-income individuals and families, and culturally diverse groups. Beginning in 2019, I worked closely with mothers and babies to promote optimal health outcomes, and in doing so, her passion for breastfeeding advocacy and support ignited. I later became an internationally recognized lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2023, and it has become part of my mission to continue to serve lactating communities with a focus on preventative health.

Trained at the Carol Gray Center for CST Studies and Portland State University in Portland, OR. I collaborated closely with midwives, lactation consultants, and naturopathic doctors to deliver integrated, comprehensive care. I completed advanced training in human lactation and naturopathic medicine, and is a candidate for licensure as a Naturopathic Doctor. With experience supporting babies with conditions such as tongue tie, torticollis, muscle tension, colic, breastfeeding challenges, developmental delays, and gastrointestinal issues, I am passionate about enhancing birth outcomes, improving pregnancy and postpartum care, and promoting infant comfort as well as breastfeeding success.
