Hola! I’m Micaela López, a doula with over 7 years of experience walking alongside families on their sacred birthing journey. Before stepping into birth work, I spent 15 years as an educator in both public and private schools. In 2018, I followed the call of my soul into the path of birth and trained as a birth doula with Doula Love in Portland. Since then, I’ve deepened my practice through midwifery assistant training with the Center for Indigenous Midwifery in Washington and a transformative year-long apprenticeship with midwife Cosima. These experiences have gifted me both modern and ancestral tools to support women with presence, compassion, and care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is my honor to walk beside you—holding space, offering guidance, and honoring the sacredness of every step on your birthing journey.

As your doula, I offer holistic and heart-centered care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My services include emotional support, comfort measures, and advocacy during labor; prenatal guidance to prepare you and your partner for birth; and postpartum care to support healing, bonding, and breastfeeding. Drawing from both modern training and ancestral wisdom, I create a calm, supportive environment where you feel empowered, informed, and deeply cared for at every stage of your journey.
