Infant Feeding/Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine Consultations

Our physicians are Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine Specialists who have the most advanced training in lactation complications and complex medical conditions as they relate to lactation. We provide more in-depth assessments that are outside of the scope of lactation consultants. Services include general lactation support; frenotomy/tongue-tie release for tethered oral tissue; help with nipple pain, sores, breast pain, clogged ducts, and recurrent breast inflammation or mastitis; guidance when laboratory or imaging studies are needed; evaluation of underlying or complex medical concerns; support when a procedure or medication may affect lactation; jaundice management; re-lactation and inducing lactation; treatment with OMT/CST (osteopathic manipulation and craniosacral therapy); and more personalized care based on your family’s needs.
