How these prices are calculated

Prices are the rates night nannies and newborn care specialists list on their Bornbir profiles. Birth doula packages are left out, because they pay for labor support rather than nights. So are hourly rates under $15 or over $200, to leave out package prices entered as an hourly rate by mistake.

The Morristown figures count providers based within 150 miles once at least 5 of them list prices; below that the page shows New Jersey or United States figures instead. Medians are the middle price, ranges the middle half of prices, and per-night costs assume a 10-hour shift. Figures recompute daily.

The cost of a night nanny in Morristown, NJ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Morristown, NJ, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

As soon as you meet Carla it will be incredibly obvious why you will only want her to be the one taking care of your newborn child. It is evident that her natural instincts and overall persona is exactly what every mom wishes for when they are going to select someone to help them with their newborn baby. Not only is Carla warm and patient, but she is knowledgeable and experienced, without being bossy. She almost floats around your home and brings you into a bubble of peace from the second she walks in. I have never had such peace of mind as when Carla helped us. Because of this I have referred Carla to every single friend when they share they are pregnant. Only a lucky few have reached out early enough to secure her. She is exceptional. If I could have nobody else help with my family ever it would be her. You will see when you meet her. Her passion is babies. She will know exactly what you and your family need from her and she senses it. Her talents are unmatched. She is truly exceptional. I would only have another baby if I could have Carla. I could never settle for anyone else. From the second she walks in the door Carla is somehow equally caring and professional and does not miss a beat.

I am a Venezuelan born, Miami raised, queer, cis woman who has always been obsessed with babies and everything birth. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve known that I wanted to work with children and parents. I did everything from teach dance, child wrangle, summer camp counselor, and eventually a full-time nanny. I have worked as a nanny for the last 13 years. I am finally walking the road to becoming a birth and postpartum doula, and I am beyond thrilled to be working with you. My intentions are to bring light, love, safety, and knowledge to families in need of assistance during both birth and postpartum. I believe you should be able to speak freely of any concerns or questions you may have about your pregnancy and newborn. I believe that it is your right to rest and be able to enjoy the journey into parenting, whether it is your first child, or your third.

We cannot recommend Elanor enough. She is an incredible full-time nanny for our family, and has been for the last five years. She handled our first child and then transitioned to handing both when we had our second; she was especially amazing while juggling our newborn and toddler. She is calm, patient, warm, and has never once raised her voice - a quality that has been especially wonderful for our sensitive children. At the same time, she is firm and consistent, sets clear boundaries, and is excellent at discipline in a calm and respectful way. She is incredibly flexible, often staying late or coming early when needed, and even traveled with us on many family vacations, giving us daytime coverage and the opportunity for much needed date nights. She also handles doctor appointments, kids sports/activities, and all the everyday logistics of caring for two young children. She became such a trusted and important part of our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her in our children’s lives.

Hi, I’m Joy, a birth and postpartum doula and pediatric sleep consultant with advanced lactation training. I support families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond with a calm, practical, judgment-free approach. As a mom of four grown children and a grandmother, I bring both professional training and decades of hands-on experience with babies and families. During pregnancy and birth, I help you feel informed, prepared, and confident in your choices, while providing steady emotional and physical support throughout labor. After baby arrives, I can continue supporting you through postpartum recovery, feeding, newborn care, sleep, and adjusting to life with your new baby. My goal is simple: to help you feel supported and confident as you navigate this huge transition. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll usually find me spending time with my own family, traveling in our RV, hiking, biking, or exploring somewhere new.

After dealing with the 4-month sleep regression for over a month and a half, my husband and I decided to reach out to Joy. At the time, our son was barely sleeping overnight. He was waking every 30 minutes to an hour and refused to sleep in his crib or bassinet. After speaking with Joy, she created a detailed, personalized sleep plan specifically for our son. To our amazement, after just one night, he was sleeping through the night with only one wake up to feed. I was so nervous about sleep training because I thought it would be stressful and heartbreaking, but it was the complete opposite. The process was much easier than we expected, and the results were truly life-changing for our whole family. Joy was incredibly supportive every step of the way, always available to answer our questions and provide reassurance. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you’re struggling with your little one’s sleep, she is absolutely worth it!

A Truly Exceptional Doula Experience Hiring Aisolen Marcial was hands down one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From the moment we met her, we felt instantly at ease. Her calm presence, deep knowledge, and genuine care created a sense of trust and safety that carried us through every step of labor and delivery. Throughout our prenatal visits, Aisolen took the time to really understand our hopes, fears, and birth preferences. She offered evidence-based information without pressure and helped us feel empowered to make informed decisions. She was always just a text away when we had questions or needed support. During labor, Aisolen was our anchor. She brought such a peaceful energy into the room, offering physical comfort, emotional reassurance, and quiet encouragement exactly when we needed it. Whether it was helping with breathing techniques, massage, or just being a supportive presence, she anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our baby nurse, Alecia. She came at a moment’s notice when I unexpectedly delivered five days early and showed up at our apartment immediately after we arrived home from the hospital. As a first-time mom recovering from a C-section, her support was truly invaluable. Alecia’s calm, warm demeanor is unmatched. She is quite literally a baby whisperer. Within just 72 hours, she helped get our baby boy into a comfortable routine with eating and sleeping, and he feels completely at ease with her. She works around the clock, is incredibly attentive, and provides thoughtful, reassuring guidance on every aspect of newborn care. My husband and I genuinely would not have been able to do this without her. Alecia even accompanied us to our first pediatrician visit, offering support and confidence during what can be such an overwhelming milestone. She has been a bright, steady ray of light during an intense and emotional time, learning how to care for a newborn while I was also recovering from surgery. We wholeheartedly recommend Alecia to anyone looking for an exceptional baby nurse. You will not be disappointed!

Lisa was exactly what we needed when our baby was born. As first time parents, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We were overwhelmed and tired and needed a lot of guidance. Lisa not only took unbelievable care of our baby, but she took care of us too. Focussing on my post-partum needs and making sure that I was doing and healing well, while simultaneously caring for our baby with the highest quality of care, was exactly what Lisa did for the 7 weeks she spent with us. She taught us as she did, making sure that when it was time to say goodbye, my husband and I felt confident and well-grounded with a solid foundation and a deep understanding of how to care for our baby. She was also extremely easy to have around which made the newborn trenches a little more enjoyable. We love Lisa, she'll be back for the next one!

We had a wonderful experience working with Breana for six weeks after our baby arrived. As first-time parents, we especially appreciated her knowledge and guidance on everything from formula preparation and feeding to understanding our baby's cues and everyday newborn care. She was reliable, communicative, and always punctual, and we felt completely comfortable trusting her with our baby. Her support brought a sense of calm to what could have otherwise been an overwhelming first few weeks.
