My due date is June 16th, and I started working with my doula in March. From the beginning, she has been incredibly supportive and informative. My husband and I both appreciate how thorough she is. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure we feel confident and prepared. She provides a lot of helpful information without ever making things feel overwhelming, and she’s always patient when answering our questions. I truly feel like we’re in good hands with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring doula.

I can’t say enough good things about Jamie! From our labor prep meetings to staying by my side through a 36-hour labor, she truly went above and beyond. When my husband had to go to the NICU with our baby, she stayed with me and supported me through those moments, and by the end of the experience she truly felt like part of our family. Even though my labor was long and hard, it was also incredibly magical and non-traumatic. I honestly believe that without her support I would have ended up with a C-section. She kept me moving and encouraged me even after I had an epidural, which made such a difference in my experience. I especially appreciated how she supported my desire for a natural birth while also fully embracing modern medicine when it was needed. That balance meant so much to me. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is. If you’re considering working with Jamie, I wholeheartedly recommend her.

“My house is so quiet. Everyone is at school, or cruising around, we're watching Good Grief and snuggling on the couch in this newborn bubble, and you send me these beautiful photos, and life is just so good. Always keeping you because I'm so grateful you protected my position and supported me and my peace so that this could exist, exactly the way it is. No trauma, no fear, just bliss.” I remember sending that text to Jamie, feeling so held by her during birth that those first few days of newborn bliss were exactly just that, bliss. She was intentional in making sure my birth was exactly how I wanted to experience it, down to the smells, the sounds, the sights. She stood by me with her calm demeanor when every appointment up to 41+6 weeks had a chance of changing our trajectory. She stayed steadfast when I weathered each appointment’s emotional storm. I truly believe that she helped bring me to labor because of the support she offered, always asking and understanding what was important to me, always checking in with what I want. She stayed with me into the early hours of the morning after delivery so I could rest easy while my husband handled picture day and groceries and all the household tasks mom would have handled if I weren’t in the hospital bringing their brother earth side. She helped me hold my power and captured moments I will remember forever. I am forever grateful to have her be part of birth story.
