I grew up in west Michigan, cradled by the crescent moon grin of the Great Lakes. My desire to become a doula first took root in experiences I had volunteering with local organizations and non-profits when I was in high school. I'm a career nanny and Newborn Care Specialist with a Master's in Childhood Studies. I'm also currently working towards certification as a post-natal mental health specialist. My approach to working with both parents and children is a calm environment, lots of empathy, and a focus on parental well-being and children's rights.
