Hello, I’m Vashti. When I’m not helping mommas have their babies I’m enjoying mine. My husband and I are born and raised in Los Angeles County. I dream of raising a house full of kids that can grow up together. When I had my two babies, I knew I wanted to attempt the natural route, and natural I went. My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. Having experienced birth in such sweet and different ways, I decided how in love with the birth experience I was. I knew many birth story’s that were expressed as bad, and my hearts desire was to become to those mommas a redemptive roadmap back into the birth world, and to new mommas, a roadmap where a bad birth experience wasn’t in their story - So I became a birth doula. My heart in the birth world as a Christian certified Doula is to remind mothers that they were created for such a miraculous work and are so much more capable of birth then they realize. With dietary adjustments, environment enhancements, effective movements, informative advocacy, continual reassurance, and calling on heaven, we can guide you to having the heaven on earth birth you have always dreamed of.

No matter how it goes, it can be beautiful. I have been a Doula for 7 years. I am also a birthing assistant at a local birth center. I love what I do, and truly believe this is what I was created to do. It is a true passion of mine and something I enjoy so much.

As a DONA certified Birth Doula, I am thrilled to be able to help families during one of the most exciting and beautiful moments in their lives-having a baby. I'm passionate about nutrition and natural remedies but as someone who is continuing their studies in the medical field, I am also very science oriented in my practice. I believe people should be able to have the birth they desire with the support they deserve.

Juli's unique background combines the intuition of traditional midwifery and a strong sense of the spiritual side of the childbearing transition. Juli is fully supportive and embraces all families of every shape, size, color, creed, background, belief, sexual or gender identity. You will find love and caring at Open Heart Midwifery. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.

My name is Jalyn and I am a holistically trained full-spectrum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and Certified Lactation Education Specialist! My contribution to birth-work is an extension of my spiritual practice that creates a sacred and safe space for truth, radically honest storytelling, generational karmic clearing, sovereign decision making, incorporating forgotten herbal and ancestral practices, reinforcing the importance of community support, and my capacity to support parents in a way that encompasses their holistic wellbeing-- and that of course includes plenty of recalibration and restoration during such a major lifestyle transformation. My hands-on support is an intersection of evidence-based practices with individualized approaches to care. I inform families of ALL of their options before, during, and after pregnancy — advocating for and supporting them in WHATEVER decisions they feel suit them best! I currently support families choosing home birth, birth center or hospital. I am proudly born and raised in South Central Los Angeles and my journey has been inspired by the stories of beautiful Black families in my community, both tragic and revolutionary! Alongside having a background in spiritual and shamanic facilitation , I also have 1+ years of experience with child care/live-in full time nannying, light tutoring, family centered wellness. In my personal time I love to create art through various mediums of expression (painting, crochet, herbal medicine making), create short films documenting my journey of evolution, and uplift the vibration of the collective around me by sharing wisdom based upon my personal experiences as a 26 year old! Hi there! My name is Bri and I am a Full Spectrum Doula located in the Los Angeles area. It's my goal to help you prepare for the birth you envision and to set you up for success during your postpartum period. I offer additional services such as childbirth education, placenta encapsulation, support during miscarriage and termination, and much more. I birthed my little one during the summer of 2021 at home (doula and midwife in attendance), which is what ultimately led me to doula work. When I'm not visiting with clients or at a birth, I run a natural skin care business and do some nutritional consulting. I love to cook and read, but I'm mostly enjoying motherhood in my free time.

I am a Perinatal Care Specialist — my job is to hold space for people as they navigate reproductive health and perinatal care by providing emotional support, physical comfort, practical assistance, and non-medical care. What that may look like depends on each client's individual needs and situation. I am passionate about education and love to not only learn new things myself, but also pass on my accumulated knowledge to others. I strongly believe that knowledge is power, and support my clients in navigating the healthcare field knowing their options and alternatives so they are better able to advocate for themselves, their bodies, their families, and their choices. I started my journey in the healthcare field in 2010 when I began training as a Massage Therapist in NYC. Since then I have become a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and since moving to LA in 2017, I have turned my focus more specifically to equity for marginalized people in health and wellness. I am now a DONA International Certified Doula, California Certified Massage Therapist, a Reiki Master, Yoga Instructor, trained in the use of Essential Oils for Birth and Postpartum, and most recently became a Certified Facilitator of The Resilience Toolkit.

My journey into becoming a doula stem from my deep love for natural birth, witnessing the beauty of babies being born, and providing support to women during pregnancy and labor. Before pursuing formal training as a doula, I had the privilege of attending three hospital births. These experiences sparked a profound interest in natural childbirth and fueled my passion for supporting mothers during this transformative time. I began following midwives and doulas on social media sites such as YouTube and Instagram, truly immersing myself in their knowledge and practices. It was during this time that I realized I was drawn to this field. A close friend asked me to be her doula and without hesitation, I said yes. My background as a nanny for babies aged 6 weeks to 2 years, in addition to my time working as a travel nanny, has given me valuable experience in caring for infants and supporting families.
