second baby, looking for a certified daytime postpartum doula for 2-3 days a week, 4 hours per day, for feeding/sleep or other newborn care support. ideally at around $40/hour rate (starting December 2026)
My name is Suparna. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant, and my estimated due date is November 5, 2026. My husband works at Qualcomm, and we are covered under the UHC Qualcomm insurance plan. I am planning to deliver at Scripps Mercy Hospital. I would like to inquire about your doula services and whether you are available around my due date. I would also appreciate any information you can share about your services, packages, and how you typically support families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. If you are not available for my due date, would you be able to refer me to another doula from your team or professional network?
First baby, planning to give birth at Scripps La Jolla. Open to either unmedicated (preferred) or medicated birth, but looking for holistically-minded doula support during birth and a few times postpartum. Lactation expertise would be great as well.
Hello, I am a mom and lawyer, soon to be living in poway, and due for a c-section with my second on December 18. I am a solo practitioner and am hoping to have some help with the newborn night phase to ensure I am able to function during the day, especially after the first few weeks when I will need to work at least part time to manage existing client cases. My husband is currently on a combat deployment with the Navy. He is supposed to return home before the baby arrives, but there is a chance he will not be here, so I feel a lot of pressure to schedule supports where possible. I am seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced night nanny who can kindly care for my newborn girl while also providing emotional/physical support for me, as I will be having a c section and breastfeeding. I am looking forward to hearing from and hopefully meeting folks who will have availability. I do not expect to need someone the very second we get home from the hospital, since that timeline is hard to predict, but I am hoping to have someone who can step in after Christmas and for about five weeks after (5 nights a week). Thank you!
Prenatal doula $1,200 through AFSPA insurance the foreign service benefits plan.

The schedule is flexible and we can adjust the days/hours depending on the your availability and our needs. I'd like to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your services and availability around my due date window. Please let me know the best way to set up a quick chat. I look forward to hearing from you! Best regards, Claire
I am 41 years old, recently (and happily!) relocated to beautiful San Diego from the Bay Area. This is my first pregnancy, I am looking for someone who can help me create a birth plan and provide guidance and support to my husband and myself during labor. I am planning to give birth at the Jacobs Medical Center (UCSD). Our budget is in the $2,000–$3,000 range.
I am hoping to have a pre-birth and birth doula that I can accepts insurance Anthem Blue Cross HMO (commercial) and In-network of Hoag Medical Group. I will give birth at Hoag Irvine.
I feel that I will need professional help mentally since this is my first time going through this and not knowing what to expect at the age of 18.
Second baby, postpartum support, kaiser permanente
My plan is to give birth either at the temecula valley hospital or on base hospital on camp pendleton, my estimated budget is around $6,000-$7,000 for 2-3 months of care. My birth plan is still something i’m working out since i am a first time mom. and im early in my 1st trimester. age to me does not matter as long as they are fully certified in the field, know CPR, and have at least 5-6 years of experience. My baby will be around 2weeks old when i start care so my main concern is that during the night time baby baby is woken up and feed as needed, only cleaning wise that would maybe have to be done is just dishes and washing laundry (not folding just washing and drying)
Hello, I am helping a client with finding a doula for Postpartum services. Are you available and do you take Anthem PPO? Thank you
i plan to give birth in a hospital and i want somone who will be covered by tricare and i have west and my husband is active duty we plan to give birth off base
I am planning to give birth in a hospital and am looking for a certified doula who accepts or is familiar with TRICARE Prime coverage. I'm not sure what to expect regarding the cost, so I am hoping to find someone whose services are covered by TRICARE or eligible for reimbursement. I am due on November 20, 2026. My birth plan is to try a low-dose epidural at first, with the option to increase it if needed. My goal is to have the best pain relief possible while maintaining safety for me and my baby. I prefer to avoid Pitocin unless it is medically necessary. I would also like to avoid giving birth flat on my back if possible and would prefer to labor and deliver in side-lying or other upright, supported positions as appropriate. During labor, I would like to use comfort measures such as a birth ball, peanut ball, and squat bar, and I prefer intermittent fetal monitoring if it is safe for me and my baby. After birth, I would like delayed cord clamping, to leave the vernix on my baby rather than wiping it off immediately, and to have uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact with either me or the baby's father for about the first hour before routine newborn assessments, provided my baby is healthy and does not require urgent medical care. I would prefer to delay the hospital bath and decline routine eye ointment unless it is medically necessary or required. I understand that my birth preferences may need to change if there is a medical concern for me or my baby. I am looking for a certified doula with at least 10 years of experience supporting hospital births. I am 28 years old, this is my first pregnancy, and I plan to breastfeed if possible but am open to supplementing with formula if medically necessary. I would also appreciate postpartum support, including newborn education, breastfeeding guidance, and sleep training support after my baby is born. Most importantly, I am looking for a doula who complements my husband's role rather than replaces it. As first-time parents, we want someone who can help create a calm, low-stress environment, guide my husband on ways to comfort and support me during labor, and empower us to work together as a team throughout the birth experience.
I plan to give birth in La Jolla UCSD Birthing center. I have Tricare Prime and my goal is to have an Unmedicated birth with minimal intervention.
