Hello, my name is Bizza and I am a birth and postpartum doula located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am so passionate about birth and empowering birthing people with support and knowledge so they are fully equipped for whatever childbirth brings their way. My background is all things babies, from being a professional nanny to doula work, to being an Auntie to so many children. Knowledge is power and there are so many unknowns in childbirth. It is my joy and desire to equip birthing people with enough knowledge and support that when the unknowns come up, and they will, you are not blindsided. My journey to becoming a postpartum doula began in 2022, when I became a mother myself. During my pregnancy, I dove deep into everything I could learn about birth and parenting, and I quickly fell in love with the beauty and power of the whole process. But when my daughter was born, I realized there was a gap in the education and support available for new mothers, especially when it comes to the postpartum experience. I found that many mothers, myself included, were left to navigate this crucial time without the guidance and support they truly needed. It was in this moment of realization that I knew I wanted to support other women in their postpartum journeys, helping them feel informed, nurtured, and cared for as they adjusted to life with a new baby. In late 2024, I found a postpartum doula training led by an incredible midwife, and I knew this was the path I was meant to take. As a follower of Jesus, my faith is central to everything I do, and I strive to serve others with love and compassion. When I’m not supporting families, you can find me baking, spending time with my own family, and dreaming of a homesteading life. I’m excited to be part of your postpartum journey and offer the care and support you need during this transformative and sacred time.

Hi, I'm Dez Weyburn. I have thirteen years of doula experience and have been able to support so many kinds of births. I love working with families who want to take charge of their own birth experience, however that looks to them. In the past year, I've sort of accidentally found a niche at supporting high risk births, so I'm well versed in how most of the local hospitals deal with labor complications. Beyond that, I'm well informed about supporting physiological births. As a doula and massage therapist, I often incorporate touch in prenatal meetings, the labor and birth, and our postpartum check-in.

Hi everyone! My name is Amber and I am a postpartum doula and placenta encapsulator serving Logan Utah and its surrounding areas . I have a passion for supporting mothers through the sacred postpartum period. I believe the days and weeks after birth should be honored, and the mother should be held, nourished, and cared for.

After the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Even though I had a good support system, there were many factors at play that left me feeling depressed, anxious, and like I wasn't a good mom.  Thankfully, I was able to receive appropriate care and I was soon feeling better! I felt so incredibly loved and held as I did the work to recover. Because of the wonderful support I experienced from the birth and postpartum world, I decided to transition from my former career of 16 years as a veterinary technician. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula through CAPPA and I am so excited to continue supporting the new families in my community!
