Hi, My sister-in-law has been co-sleeping with her baby boy who will be 1 on July 5th. They're now wanting to move him to a crib in his own room. I'm thinking a nice gift would be to have someone experienced with this process come in an give some coaching on sleep training etc.. Is this something you're interested in? Best regards, Stu StuGrater@gmail.com
Hi, do you know anyone who is twin breech extraction trained/certified?! Have no idea how to look for or find someone like that. I’ll either be at PWF or StV if I go before 36w. That’ll be in July so I’ve got time but would love to find someone! Do you work with any midwives? I’m not sure what I’m allowed to ask for at the hospital so this is all new territory for me…
Good evening, I am looking for a doula that is hopefully somewhat covered by my insurance plan. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Program. Do you accept this insurance? If so I’d love to connect. Regards, Courtney
A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—helping you feel more confident, comfortable, and supported every step of the way.

I'm planning to give birth at a hospital in portland. I'd be looking for someone who takes OHP insurance and who could provide support both in the hospital setting and for the first week or two after baby is born. Someone who could help with cleaning and cooking would be preferred as well as working around my daughter who will be nearing age 4 at the time.
I planning to give birth at the hospital as the midwife I see only delivers there. I have Trillium OHP and want to get a doula that is covered under that. I dont have a set birth plan yet as I am still in my first trimester, but would like help with that as well. So far through research, I know I do want to try for an unmedicated birth, I want as little medical intervention as possible, I dont want to be overcrowded with staff in the room, I dont want constant fetal monitoring unless it is emergency situation, I want to be able to freely move around while i am contracting to be able to listen and help my body, I dont want to give birth in my back unless my body tells me too, I dont want constant cervix checks unless its an emergency, I will labor at home for as long as possible before going to hospital, I want delayed cord clamping, I want immediate skin to skin with baby and for the father and space for us to experience baby when it arrives. I want a doula that has more than 5 years of experience especially with first time moms I would prefer someone who is in there 30s but not required. I really am just looking to have someone who is educated and familiar with unmedicated births and to be that extra support for me during birth and can be a calm guide for me and my boyfriend during this amazing experience :)
