If you value both evidence and intuition, I might be the doula for you. I love helping clients combine research and their own instincts to make decisions that are right for them. Furthermore, I might be the doula for you if you want support without an agenda. I don’t believe there’s an ideal way to approach birth or postpartum adjustment. I’m here to understand and support whatever path you want to take.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Glo. As a first-time mom living far from much of my family, I was nervous about navigating the postpartum period, but after our very first night with Glo, I knew we had found someone incredibly special. Glo is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, reliable, gentle, and kind. She brought a sense of calm and confidence into our home during a time when everything felt new. She was always there to answer questions, talk through different approaches, and help us navigate each new stage with our daughter without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She also went far beyond simply caring for our baby. Glo helped us set up systems that made our entire bottle prep, feeding, and sanitizing routine so much more efficient and organized. Whenever we needed additional support, she had an incredible network of trusted resources to direct us to, including a lactation consultant who ended up being invaluable to me. One of the things I appreciated most was how intentional she was about understanding our goals. Each week, she listened to what we wanted to work on—both in the immediate moment and more broadly with our daughter—and helped us turn those goals into clear, actionable plans. So many of the routines and systems she helped us establish have worked incredibly well for our family and given us confidence as new parents. More than anything, Glo gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received as a new mother: confidence in my ability to be a mom. She never imposed her way of doing things; instead, she gave me the knowledge, support, and encouragement to trust my own instincts. She was endlessly supportive and brought such a gentle, reassuring presence into our home. When I look back on the time I became a mother, Glo will forever be a part of that memory. Her warmth, knowledge, patience, and support were more meaningful than I ever could have anticipated. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side, and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

We had a very good experience with Emilia. She was caring, gentle, reliable, and extremely attentive to the baby’s needs. Having someone experienced and trustworthy during the night gave us great peace of mind, especially during those first weeks with a newborn. She handled the baby with great care, was attentive to her feeding and sleeping routines, and was always calm and patient. She was also very respectful of our home and our family’s preferences. We truly appreciated her experience, professionalism, and the warmth she showed toward our baby. We feel so lucky that Maria has been part of our family for the past three months helping take care of our son, Cal, as a nighttime Newborn Care Specialist. She has been absolutely amazing, and we truly couldn’t have gotten through the newborn trenches without her! From day one, Maria has been so loving, caring, patient, and attentive with him. She has such a natural way with babies and somehow always knows exactly what he needs. It’s been so sweet to watch the bond they’ve developed, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for him. Maria has also been an incredible resource for us as first-time parents. She has so much knowledge and experience, but she never made us feel like we were doing anything wrong or asked too many questions. She was always happy to share advice, help us figure things out, and give us confidence when we needed it. She brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home, which made a huge difference during those long and exhausting newborn nights. And somehow, thanks in large part to Maria, our son is already sleeping through the night! She helped us establish great routines and sleep habits while still giving him so much love and attention. We honestly don’t know how we would have survived without her. Beyond how amazing she is with our son, Maria is just a wonderful person to have around. She is dependable, thoughtful, kind, trustworthy, hardworking, and incredibly easy to have in our home. She always went above and beyond and made our lives so much easier. We always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care, which is truly priceless. Maria has been such a special part of this chapter for our family. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us. She is truly one of those people you feel incredibly lucky to have found, and we would recommend her in a heartbeat to any new parents. Any family would be SO lucky to have Maria!

Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Moragne-Hanson. I'm a licensed midwife in Los Angeles, CA providing well-woman, pre-conception and prenatal/postpartum midwifery care. I also provide doula care, childbirth education and lactation support from the privacy of my in-home birthing studio. Here you & your family are provided with everything you need for a safe, comfortable and peaceful birth. Receive 24 Golden Hours of maternal & newborn postpartum care as you enjoy 3 homemade meals prepared to restore, center and balance your body before journeying home with your new babe. I offer specialty services such as yoni steams, healing herbal baths, Ala-carte Postpartum packages and the "Closing of the Bones" ceremony, bringing spiritual closure to your birth. For me, establishing trust with my client is the most important and fundamental. My practice is built on nurturing trust and learning to let go of the things we allow to interfere with trust. I want to encourage trusting in yourself; trusting in your body (and the natural process of giving birth); trusting in your baby (and their own divinely written birth story); trusting in humanity (and the world your baby is born into) and trusting in our partnership, as client and midwife. I believe, "when a woman is heard, she is seen; when she is seen, she has a voice"; and as her midwife I am compelled to encourage her to honor that voice; her voice. In this way I believe I am blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my role as supporter, facilitator, educator and client advocate; the ultimate calling of a midwife. For me, describing the process of birth is like trying to describe a miracle; and walking with a woman as she becomes a mother is even more profound…I am beyond words. Donna, LM, CPM

Donna gave me the confidence and calm I needed for my first birth. She was there every step of the way to answer all my questions, no matter how silly! My doctor was very impressed with how prepared and informed I was. I would love to work with Donna again.
