Hello, I’m Fabiola—a mother of four and proud grandmother of two sweet baby boys. I am a certified Doula, with a master’s degree in East-West Psychology, along with certifications in Ecopsychology and Resilience Leadership from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am a retired medical social worker, with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. While I had the opportunity to work in many areas of the hospital, the most meaningful and rewarding part of my career was supporting expectant mothers in OBGYN, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. In 2023, I founded my doula practice as a way to bring together my professional experience, educational background, and integrative approach to maternal wellness. My work is centered on supporting the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

I cannot recommend Fabiola enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, sweet, knowledgeable, and supportive. She was always so responsive over text and incredibly easy to reach whenever I had a question or needed reassurance. What I appreciated most was how open-minded and spiritual she was. She truly listened to me, respected my wishes, and never once pushed her own opinions or beliefs onto me. I always felt heard, supported, and safe in her care. One of the most valuable things she gave me was the use of meditation and visualization to help me stay calm and visualize a successful delivery. This ended up being incredibly helpful during labor. I experienced extremely intense back labor, and even with an epidural, I could still feel the pain. At one point, my heart rate became dangerously high, and using the meditation techniques she had taught me helped me calm my body, regulate my breathing, and get through some of the most difficult moments. She brought such a calming, reassuring energy to my birth experience, and I truly believe her support made a huge difference. I am so grateful to have had her by my side during such an important and vulnerable moment in my life. If you are looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful, spiritually open, and genuinely invested in your experience, I highly recommend her! ❤️

From the caring lens of Ayurveda I view pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a very sacred time of life deserving much respect, nurturing and care of the mind, body and spirit.I also believe in the profound wisdom and power of woman's body to give birth naturally and peacefully trusting her inner guidance. I'm rejoice with of the role of mama's supportive partner and their profound positive impact of her birth experience. Nurturing & rejuenation postpartum is extremely important, as the level of healing and recovery in the 'fourth trimester' is to impact many years to come. My intent is not only co-creating a positive, memorable birth experience, but wellness, happiness and harmony within all stages of parenthood. Besides healing touch to people I love to ride & massage horses, forage for wild herbs and make potions and medicines, dance, sing, paint, play my keyboard, and write (including children books). I believe every birthing person should have the right to a trauma free birth experience, where their beliefs, values and goals are heard and respected. Birthing bodies are powerful. My goal as a doula is to remind you of the power you hold. I have worked in the medical field for 13 years as a Certified Medical Assistant, Lead Medical Assistant Instructor, recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and gained Certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am a very motivated and determined person. As a dedicated mother and proud African American woman, my heart is deeply rooted in the wellbeing of our community. The glaring disparities in maternal health that disproportionately affect women of color are not just statistics to me; they are urgent calls to action that resonate with my own experiences and those of my loved ones. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge, resources, and voice to initiate and support sustainable changes within the healthcare system. My goal is to ensure that equitable, high-quality maternal care is not a privilege, but a standard afforded to all mothers, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Through community outreach, advocacy, and education, I strive to contribute to a world where maternal mortality in underserved communities is not a grim expectation but a rare exception. My mission is to fight for a future where every mother’s life is given the value it unequivocally deserves.

When I first became a mom, I never thought I would feel comfortable leaving my baby with someone else, especially during the newborn stage. I was very anxious and had a lot of insecurities. Anna helped me feel calm and confident from the beginning. She was gentle with my baby, always patient, and took the time to explain things when I had questions. Knowing she was there allowed me to get some rest and take care of myself without constantly worrying. Anna helped with overnight newborn care, feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and sleep support. She treated my baby with so much love and care, and I always felt that my baby was safe with her. I am very grateful for the support Anna gave our family and would happily recommend her to any family looking for newborn care or postpartum support.

We’ve been so lucky to have Gabi as our newborn doula, providing both day and night support since our daughter was six weeks old. From the start, Gabi has been incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring - not just with our daughter but with our whole family as we’ve adjusted to life with a new baby. She brings such confidence, warmth, and positive energy to every visit, and it’s clear how passionate she is about supporting families during this special (and overwhelming!) time. Gabi has also been a wonderful resource, connecting us with others in the doula community and helping us feel supported in so many ways. We’re truly grateful we found her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Any family would be lucky to work with her and have her in their baby’s life!
