About Patricia

Hi! My name is Patricia Gagui, CPM, LM, LDEM, and I am the founder of Maple & Moon Midwifery serving families throughout West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. After years of working as a doula and maternal health advocate, I was eventually drawn to midwifery through my passion for informed choice, compassionate support, and relationship-centered care. I believe pregnancy and birth deserve more than rushed appointments and fear-based care. Families deserve education, support, and the opportunity to make informed decisions about their bodies, babies, and birth experiences. My approach to care blends education, warmth, and individualized support to help families feel safe, respected, and deeply cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. I want prenatal visits to feel less like stressful medical appointments and more like a space where families can ask questions freely, feel heard, laugh a little, and leave feeling reassured and empowered. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy cozy coffee shops, bookstores, baking, all things fall, and spending time with my husband and children 🌿
