Ten Moons midwives look to you, as the expert on your body and your baby, to uncover how we may best serve you in your efforts to actualize your goals for your pregnancy, birth and beyond. Prenatal and postpartum visits last as long as needed for all of your questions to be answered and for you to receive the education and support you desire and deserve.

Homebirth Midwifery Care
Our comprehensive, individualized, relationship-based care includes: 24/7 telephone availability of a midwife throughout the prenatal and postpartum periods Prenatal visits monthly until 28 weeks gestation, every 2 weeks from 28-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until your baby is born Additional visits, when indicated Routine lab work Herbal and nutritional recommendations to support a healthy childbearing year 24/7 on-call availability for your birth from 37 weeks gestation Labor, birth and immediate postpartum care Lactation education and support from an IBCLC through 6 weeks postpartum Newborn metabolic screening 5 Postpartum & newborn visits during the first six weeks postpartum We use a third-party billing service, Artemis Billing, to facilitate the insurance billing process: https://ten-moons.com/insurance-billing We offer a $1,000 discount to families choosing office visits in either of our offices: Marshall or Winchester.

I can’t say enough good things about Desiree & Aimee. Starting with my very first phone call, it felt as if I had known them for years. The support they have given me through pregnancy, birth and postpartum has been outstanding. I never had any fears or anxieties while in their care because they were so knowledgeable about any concern I had. I also appreciate how quick they are to respond to my many messages and calls. I never felt like a bother to them but felt truly supported and cared about. My birth was so beautiful and I cannot thank them enough for being exactly what I needed during it. All their experience and schooling has truly paid off. I will highly recommend them to anyone and look forward to my next pregnancy & birth in their care.
