Safiya is a devoted mother of five, a proud grandmother, and a wise woman whose journey is rooted in love, service, and sacred purpose. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, she brings both clinical excellence and ancestral wisdom to every soul she touches. Her path began in the Neonatal ICU, where she nurtured the most delicate lives with skilled, tender hands. In 2009, she birthed her holistic healing practice, offering care that speaks to the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. In 2015, the NYC Department of Health recognized her commitment to maternal health and entrusted her to design and implement a transformational wellness program for women at high risk for maternal and infant mortality — work that continues to ripple through communities, saving lives and restoring dignity. Now a licensed Nurse-Midwife, Safiya answered the deeper spiritual call to reclaim birth as a sacred rite. She empowers women to give birth on their own terms and is committed to providing safe passage.
