I would like an home waterbirth with providers who preferably accept insurance. I’m not sure of my budget yet. My birth plan which is subject to change: delayed cord clamping, natural birth no pain management, skin to skin for mom and dad for the first 60 minutes, no eye ointment, vit k drops instead of a shot. That’s all for now but I’m still writing it. I would like a midwife who has experience with at least 7-10 home water births.

As a first time mom I'm looking for someone to help support and educate me in my first labour so that I can have the best birth experience possible. I'll be having a hospital birth and would love to try an unmedicated birth if possible.

I am pregnant with my first child and plan to give birth at Windsor Regional Hospital under the care of Dr. Katy Bartlett. My husband and I are looking for a doula who can support us throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery, with the goal of helping me labor at home for as long as it is safe and appropriate before going to the hospital. One important part of my birth story is that I have a significant phobia of needles. I've been working through it extensively with my therapist and have made a lot of progress. In the past, I would typically faint after receiving a needle—not because of the pain, but because of the anxiety surrounding it. I'm proud to say that over the past year I have successfully gotten through all of my bloodwork and other needle-related appointments without fainting. I am open to having an epidural if it becomes the best option during labor, but the thought of one is still terrifying and intimidating. My hope is to prepare for an unmedicated labor and delivery while remaining flexible if circumstances change. We're also hoping for guidance and education throughout this process. As first-time parents, we'd love support in learning about labor, birth, pain management techniques, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding/lactation so that we feel as confident and prepared as possible.

Plan to birth in a hospital, would like to attempt all natural delivery with no epidural. Insurance should take care of majority of cost. Would like support during birth/labor. Would like guidance for my husband to do most of the work with supporting me.

I am looking for an Arabic-speaking doula or birth support person for my upcoming vaginal delivery in Windsor, Ontario. I have a 6-year-old daughter, and my husband will most likely need to stay home with her while I am in the hospital. I am looking for a newborn specialist with at least 3+ years of experience to help care for my daughter at home, preferably with a CPR/First Aid certification as well.
